Folks I used to work with search foreign governments high and low for disgruntled, emotionally unstable officials with a deep-seated hatred of their political leadership and a history of poor judgement in handling classified information. Did you ask anyone in the administration - perhaps General Caine - for BDA on the radar assembly? Would you trust his response or is he part of the MAGA cabal actively withholding information from Ted Lieu?

@xadh @OnDisasters The age might also explain the mallet. No doubt there are systems in the cockpit that require percussive maintenance. But the iPad is instead of carrying a briefcase full of paper charts.

@xadh @OnDisasters The iPad is almost certainly being used as a navigational reference while they’re in US and European airspace. It’s used to look up radio frequencies for nav aids, approach charts for landing and airport diagrams. Some of these tankers are approaching 70 years old.
