@ToyotaUK you have a huge car manufacturing plant in the county, maybe you could help the affected groups. #Echobox=1770373846" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/local-new…

@PawsDragon @fuckyouiquit Not discussing salary prior to offer could waste everybody's time. I had recruiters say I'm a perfect fit and will definitely get shortlists but won't reveal budget until I push. Find out the top of their budget is £30k under my basic!!

People in deprived areas are: - less likely to receive bystander CPR, - less likely to access a defib, - and less likely to survive cardiac arrest. This isn’t chance, it’s inequality. We’re committed to changing this, because where you live or what your background is should not determine your survival.

@hines_stephen @StuLittle1972 Clinical desks are making decisions to upgrade calls from CFRs on far less information than a trace from an AED. Thus they are altering clinical outcomes with much less than a diagnostic ECG trace.

@Peter329532 @StuLittle1972 Having managed a clinical desk i would be disappointed if the trace from an FR 2 was used to alter a clinical outcome. That should only ever be done with a diagnostic trace

Having a 3Lead #ECG function is a luxury on an #AED and these devices all do: LifePak 1000 (with countdown & shock counter); Zoll Pro (rechargeable but a poor display); Heartstart FR3 (Philips best pro-grade #defib but discontinued). #CFR #FPoS #FREC #Ambiwlans #Paramedic

@CollinRugg Be interested to see how this passes the safety regs. Rules require a certain gap width and number of exits to people, so any benefit might get lost in extra exits, crew to man those and required space

NEW: 'Standing' airplane seats, which can increase passenger capacity by 20%, may be unveiled in 2026, according to the Daily Mail. Unreal. The seats force passengers to sit up higher, so Airlines can place the seats closer together. The "Skyrider 2.0" seat also weighs 50% less, meaning the airplanes can also save on fuel costs. "Skyrider 2.0 opens the travelling experience to a wider passenger market, creating also a useful space for the introduction of mixed classes boarded on the same aircraft," the seat company, Aviointeriors, said. The seats have a bike-like seat that travelers will straddle and would likely be implemented for shorter flights. The following video was filmed back in 2018 with Aviointeriors CEO, Ermanno de Vecchi.

@AshleaSimonBF I visited a mosque, a synagogue, a church, a gurdwara and a Buddhist temple when I did religious studies at school. The only reason we didn't go to a Hindu temple is that there wasn't one near enough. Understanding all the world's religions and none opens the mind

Brainwashing British children. Schools should not be enforcing Mosque visits. Do you agree?👇

@Jackmeough7058 @wolsned They didn't use to stop the match. I can recall doing medical cover in the late 90s early 00s every few matches we would bring someone out, about 2 people would be resuscitated each season, multiple that across the league and it's no surprise that every week they stop a match

Since 2020, UK gov invested ~£21M in automated external defibrillators (AEDs), devices used to restore heart rhythm: £20M for 21K AEDs across 18K schools (DfE, 2020-22) & £2M for 2K community AEDs (DHSC, 2022-23). They are everywhere all of a sudden. Detail in thread.

@FenrirWolf26 @wolsned Every year 30k die in an out of hospital cardiac arrest. A defib massively improves the odds of survival and now costs less than a grand. Maybe it's just a sensible thing to stop people dying

@baz7274 Most grounds already have excellent cover on match days brought in by the ground medical cover. It would be better to put that number of defibs in the community around the ground which are more poorly served and more likely to suffer a cardiac arrest

@CitizenUddin @TfL And a CAT1 response is generally 3 vehicles, I've been at jobs where there are 5. So the street fills up pretty quickly

@CitizenUddin @TfL As I've said the RRV parks giving consideration to where the following DCA will be able to park. No use parking in a place that means you're back up can't get in.

@CitizenUddin @TfL Says someone whose never had to man handle a critical patient from an address find a drop kerb to get the cot over and then into the vehicle. The RRV is selecting a place that fits his needs and the following DCA. Particularly if it's a CAT1 call

@OrwellNGoode It’s just a transliteration of the spoken form in English and other Germanic languages I’d imagine (Dutch, Norwegian, German, Frisian, etc), the month precedes the day when speaking
