If I die before you and see my obituary on X, this is the message I want you to read from me:
Do you know that Jesus was hated by religious leaders for healing a paralytic? Do you know Jesus was accused of having a demon because He healed on Sabath day? But Jesus said to them, I came from my Father to tell the TRUTH, but you can’t accept me because your father is the devil, father of all lies and deception.
This might sound very harsh isn’t it? But why did He say this? Those religious leaders were so preoccupied in keeping the law in order to receive salvation through their religious woks they thought they were self righteous. Their hearts were closed to accept Jesus. They accused others who failed to keep their standard, Jesus tells them they’re deceived and in a falls religious system that has blinded them to the Truth. They’re deceived by the devil.
Today dear friends, we have many religions that promote self-work to go to heaven. The thing is how well are we keeping it? I know some of you do much better than me, but remember God is Holy He can accept only the perfectly righteous people. But none of us is perfect because we sin even in thought. That’s why Jesus came to live the perfect life we cannot live and offer Himself as a perfect sacrifice for our sins… to set us free. This is God’s mercy and love to save us through His own perfect righteousness and Sacrifice.
Before God we can never stand on our own righteousness dear loved one, no religion or good works can save us because of our sin nature, only through Faith in Jesus can transform us from within and cover us with Jesus’ righteousness., cleanse our sinful hearts with His sacrificial blood, and grant us forgiveness. Not only that He then comes to live in us (not in temples).
The devil will try his best to keep you and me away from this truth, people will hate Jesus so much and think they know best… so Jesus says their father is the devil, because they’re following lies and being deceived by him. Turn to Jesus! He is the Saviour🙏🏽
