Acabo de cancelar mi boda, a solo dos semanas del evento, porque revisé el celular de mi prometida y descubrí que tiene una cuenta de ahorros secreta con más de $50,000 USD de la que nunca me habló. This morning, I woke up to find a stray cat in my bed — completely unexpected. Turns out, the front door had blown open during last night’s windstorm. I’ve shared about this sweet stray I call Sam — he’s a regular visitor. Every evening, like clockwork, he shows up at my side door, waits patiently, then comes inside for a few hours. He usually hangs out on the couch, has some food, takes a nap, and then heads back out. But last night was different. It was pouring rain and really windy. I had stepped outside to grab something from my truck when I suddenly heard a distant meow. I called out “Sam!” and saw him come running down the street — absolutely soaked and looking miserable. He followed me inside without hesitation. I dried him off, cleaned the mud from his fur, gave him something to eat, and he curled up for a nap before heading out again. I went to bed a few hours later. At 5 a.m., I woke up for work — and noticed a fluffy ball curled up beside me. Still half-asleep and confused, I reached over to pet it, and it meowed. I turned on the light… and there was Sam, snuggled up in my bed. As soon as I said his name, he perked up, crawled closer, and started making biscuits. I wandered the house trying to figure out how he got back in — and found the front door half open, blown ajar by the storm during the night. Before I left for work, I sat down on the couch — and Sam came over, sat beside me, and gently held onto my leg like he didn’t want me to go Credit: Tony smith

Wife and I found an incredible house on 4 acres of land with a 3/4 acre pond. Significant upgrade from our current home/yard. My mother-in-law who lives with us (for free) wants to veto it because her room would be in the basement. My wife is taking her side. What do I do now?

It's a word we all know: shrinkflation! Nothing is more annoying than watching the price of something go up while the amount of product you actually get goes down. Lay’s Chips and their sister products from PepsiCo have been highly criticized for massive price increases and shrinkflation tactics. This guy shows that he bought a 1.5 oz snack bag of chips, and when he opened it, he was disgusted at just how little was inside. Frankly, at that point it’s not a snack pack - that’s the size you used to hand out at Halloween! Now it’s supposed to be a satisfying amount of potato chips. I don’t think so. I’ve all but stopped buying chips anymore. How about you? Have you stopped buying these dreadfully overpriced items?

Boyfriend wants to move in to pay off debt I'll try to make it short. Been together for 4 years and he's always financially struggling despite having $250k sitting in crypto that he won't touch until the next " bull run". We have great chemistry but I have way more than him financially. He's always crying about debt and not having enough money and wanting a change for his life but his only change that he has done is work extra hours at work while I'm doing multiple things to gain income not including my job. When I met him he was $25k in debt and now he's $50k in debt and says he wants me to move in with him to help pay down his debt. He says he wants to pay it all off in a year and when I ask him what's his game plan he says it's me moving in to save him money and me renting out my 3 homes on Airbnb. He has a son and most recently when I've gone over to his house it's messy and cluttered and he says it's because he is so busy working and he has no help. I have a son too but I have a feeling this is greatly going to benefit him as he'll have live in help to cook and clean while also paying his debt. He makes $5k more than me yearly and says that when I move in we'll live off one income and I'm like how when you're barely making yours on your own? I live very comfortable because I live below my means and before he realized he was in so much debt there were Amazon packages and purchases made just because they were on sale or it was something he absolutely had to have. I want to break up at this point because all I see for my future is helping him, struggle and no real benefit here for me in the long run. What do you guys think?

I had a best friend who recently had a loss in their family. I'm feeding her cats while she is away. Would it be weird if I tidied up her apartment while I'm there? Not that it's dirty! She had to leave in a rush to catch a flight. So like wash the dirty dishes in the sink, wipe down the counters. That type of thing. I feel like if I lost a family member, coming back to a tidy home would take so much weight off my shoulders. Anonymous
