Grimdark is when terrible things can't happen to the most vulnerable in society because they are oppressed and it would be too shocking and edgy to be properly progressive, I guess. Grimdark is when the most cruel, evil (they say Fascist) regime can't be racist or patriarchal.

I feel the "Steam refund policy needs to change as, right now, it can be exploited" argument would be a lot more convincing if it was made by quite literally anyone else except the creator of a game that looks like this

@CodeRed_dev It's the principle of it, the review looks bad without the context of the game being advertised as being stupidly long yet it lacks substance. The refund system is necessary, but it should be discouraged to rush through a game for a refund if you sincerely enjoyed the experience.

This should not be possible @Steam Would be cool if you could finally do something about your refund policy... Got dozens of reviews like that and 21% refund rate even though the Reviews are 90% very positive... Thats over 55,000 Refunds btw...

I have over a thousand CDs and DVDs.
The oldest ones date bake to early 90s (Sega CD and Ms-Dos)

Before streaming, I was a big DVD collector. I bought nearly a thousand movies. I thought I was building a library. And I will tell you a secret: DVDs rot. The glue that holds the layers together can become opaque so the laser doesn’t read the disc properly or it can simply degrade so the disc falls apart or it can warp or expand so the disc won’t spin properly in the drive. So, in addition to needing to keep antique hardware with delicate moving parts in working order to play these games or watch these movies, the media itself is degrading. Yeah, your purchased digital movie might get deleted from the network over rights issues at some point in the future or the service that provides it might shut down. But if you buy a BluRay and put it on a shelf for five years and then decide to watch it, there is a decent chance it won’t work. I love a beautiful Criterion movie box set or a game with cool box art and a manual as much as the next guy, but people overly romanticize physical media. The universe is governed by entropy and everything is falling apart.

They often have themes that encourage them to market their game a certain way to even get eyes, notice how many bartenders and stardew-likes dominate the cozy segment, but the Latin American showcase last year was amazing due to no such constraint.

@matis1256 @Skalathraxx When The World Eaters tried to introduce themselves, the nails only further fueled his enraged sorrow, hence why he took it out on them over The Emperor, and he only followed his crusade in the search for targets to alleviate the nails. With no sense of direction.

@Phe0niz @Skalathraxx I agree, that he was Pushed to become demon and slave of khorne, but lets be fair. He HAD A CHOICE BEFORE. If he hated Emperor, why he obey his order? Why not do what his fellow gladiators do and die knowing they cant win?

@matis1256 @Skalathraxx A bit long, and I will preface that I don't like how Angron's induction was done because it makes The Emperor look needlessly incompetent, Mortarion's was much better. But the way I see it, Angron gave his all hoping for an end on Nuceria, and when denied, the apathy took him.

@Skalathraxx Angron and the World Eaters are genuinely an excellent litmus test on if one can appreciate the deeper layers of a faction because they seem really goddamn simple on the surface and if you fall for that, everyone can tell.

@matis1256 @Skalathraxx Pretty much every large figure in 40k kills innocents at some point, what makes Angron interesting and tragic is that his fate was stolen time and time again, then in his rebellion he only found himself breaking his golden cage for a bronze one.
