@DrDeath1776 We need to bring those back, in both .25 and .32 ACP, then we need them double stacked and polymer frame to get the thing to be less than 8oz.

Went to the gun shop and picked up this mint condition Baby Browning for $350. It's insane how small it is. You really can just slip it in a jacket pocket plus it has an incredible Art Deco vibe.

@justice_Tyr22 The 1987 Buick Grand National enters the building. 276 hp and a healthy 360 lb-ft of torque, the bespoke engine enabled the GNX to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and run the quarter-mile in 13.4 seconds at 100 mph.

@RobSchneider Ah man, I thought I was 104 days older than you are so I was coming here to tell you I'm the boss of you and you have to follow me... But then I realized, your birthday is October 31, 1963, therefore you are 262 days older than me... Ok fine, tell me what I have to do for you?

@justice_Tyr22 Nevermind, I just looked at some pictures, there was a backseat but no reason to shorten the frame, bring the roof down over where the back seat was and voila, two seater pacer convertible.

The entire heat capacity of the atmosphere is equal to the top 3.5 meters of the oceans. The remaining 3,700m of the abyss is Earth’s true thermal vault. The truth is, the Earth is a water planet and oceans cover 71% of the surface to an average depth of 2.3 miles. Ocean currents carry warm water from the mid tropics to the northern hemisphere, then the currents return after a round trip of 1,000 years. Without these currents northern Europe would look like Greenland. Warm waters from the Roman warm period (240BC to 400AD) are still just returning to the mid latitudes. The atmosphere by comparison is a gaseous envelope that retains almost no thermal energy, hardly any CO2 and is largely controlled by ocean dynamics. The deep Pacific itself is so massive that it is only now receiving the cold waters from the Little Ice Age. We aren't starting from scratch, we are mid-cycle in a 4.6-billion-year-old machine. We’ve also reinvented the climate. Once, it was a word for the local weather of robins and sparrows. Now it's a global ideological abstraction. We’ve lost our admiration for the natural world. We count CO2 in ppm while ignoring the satellite-proven greening of the Sahara. It’s time to move past the light breezes and offshore winds and look into the deep. Ask yourself, is the 1.4°C warming since 1850 really an unprecedented crisis? The physics says the ocean runs the game.

@FenixAmmunition Is non-LAP .62g 5.56 ammo meant to be indoor range practice ammo? I'm just curious, why make .62g non-LAP 62g ammo? I could buy it for that, can practice at the local range with the equivalent weight, they would let us, but it seems almost eccentric to make 62 but not a LAP.

.223 55gr and 62gr FMJ shipping today and tomorrow. 9mm is still in process, unfortunately, due to weather related shipping delays and "some idiot who can't read a BOL". Should be Friday/Monday, still well within the stated timeframe.

Chuck Schumer and other Democrats have insisted that they actually support Voter ID—they just object to other parts of the SAVE America Act. Well, @SenJonHusted just asked unanimous consent to pass ONLY the Voter ID portion of the bill. Democrats blocked it.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just asking questions from another point of view. Is a painting of a person remembered stealing that person's semblance? I say no. Is animation of that painting, for a movie, wrong? Why would it be? AI doesn't do anything without direction. The person directing the AI what to make is simply using a tool for their creation, and they're most likely not going to get it on the first try, retake after retake, until the director gets it the way they want it. The director will be using a tool to create a character that was going to be created with the help of somebody else. But the character was always going to be what the director wanted. Ergo, the character using AI assembly will be a person remembered, and is not soulless unless the director has no soul.

This digital necromancy is a very bad idea. First of all what makes a great actor is their unexpected, inspired choices in a given role; A glance, a grimace, an extended phrase. The AI Val Kilmer will be denied all of those uniquely human and very personal choices. It will be an extended facsimile of an actor without his fire or ingenuity- a hallow show. In addition to which, the deceased Kilmer will be saddled with a performance and a role he has no agency over. This is a violation of his dignity and his work as a living artist.

FIRST LOOK: Val Kilmer has been resurrected via AI to star in the new movie "As Deep as the Grave." Kilmer was cast in the movie in 2020, five years before his death. But he was too sick amid his throat cancer battle to ever make it to set. Now an AI version of the actor is appearing in the film, with the full blessing of his daughter, Mercedes: "He always looked at emerging technologies with optimism as a tool to expand the possibilities of storytelling. This spirit is something that we are all honoring within this specific film, of which he was an integral part.” “He was the actor I wanted to play this role,” says writer-director Coerte Voorhees. “It was very much designed around him. It drew on his Native American heritage and his ties to and love of the Southwest... His family kept saying how important they thought the movie was and that Val really wanted to be a part of this. He really thought it was important story that he wanted his name on. It was that support that gave me the confidence to say, okay let’s do this. Despite the fact some people might call it controversial, this is what Val wanted.” wp.me/pc8uak-1lH1PI

Before I go with a Rosary and say Hail Mary's out front, I would make sure I know what kind of witches they are. Satanists (like TST types) thrive on Christian opposition for publicity and validation, while real Wiccans/Pagans usually just get annoyed at being mislabeled as devil-worshippers. So before joining the public rosary group, try to learn which kind of 'witches' these actually are; it might change whether showing up helps or just fuels the wrong fire. God Bless.

There is a witches convention coming to town and there’s an internal debate amongst a group at my Church. Half of us want to go the convention to pray outside it with Rosary prayers & hymns. The other half are fearful & say it could put us in spiritual danger. What do you say?
