@fragmentshore @MavenPolitic Never understood why GPs exist - most of their job is done by Nurse Practitioners now anyway. From what i understand, Japan doesn’t have GPs. You go straight to a specialist.

@MavenPolitic In particular, GPs need to be culled massively. (There is a role, but 80% of their work is basically referring. And the prescribing angke could do with a big "computer says no")

The vast majority of healthcare is completely procedural, their work is ripe for automation. An AI can tell a nurse what tests to run, they can run it, and the AI can diagnose as well as any doctor. In the near future we'll have stopped worshipping the mechanics of the flesh.

Ok of course I took the site down with this tweet 😂 Told you it was alpha verison The SQL that makes Hotel List slow now is this: latitude>latitude_min AND latitude>latitude_max AND longitude>longitude_min AND longitude>longitude_max SQLite is generally highly performant but this stuff makes it trip up a bit Should I install some SQLite geo extension that searches this faster? I don't wanna SQL by city='lisbon-portugal' because I want people to be able to move around the map and set radius of search etc. Thanks!

It's kind of the midwit meme If you're rich you've usually either automated or hired so your business mostly runs on autopilot and you don't have to do grunt work or much work at all Rich are very similar to poor in this case, they don't have to work either, because they get free money from the government

1) If society collapses then owning real and valuable stuff is actually going to be quite a benefit to you. 2) Economic growth is a pretty good way to stave off societal collapse. 3) You probably shouldn't be taking advice from someone tweaking from drug withdrawal
