I've a new paper on how worlds emerge in Everettian quantum mechanics. I argue that decoherence is the mechanism that allows worlds to evolve independently from one another, so worlds emerge from underlying reality just as bouncy balls and gases emerge! cambridge.org/core/journals/…

Today we focus on the metaphysics of quantum theory, with talks on branch counting in many-worlds quantum theory (x2!), low-probability quantum events and their applications in metaphysics, the methodology of radical quantum metaphysics, and decoherence as a route to many worlds
