@JRoss1113@FiresideYankees Agreed. Then they started over managing him and moving him all over the rotation and pen. His stuff was made for 1-2 innings. The perfect set-up man for Mo until he retired. To be fair (and possibly wrong since I was 13), farnsworth was a cut and dry innings eater.
@PhilPiscitelli@FiresideYankees Pudge screwed him. We got rid of Farnsworth for Pudge in ‘08 after Jorge tore his shoulder. Then Pudge made a snap throw to 2B against Texas & Joba had to dive out of the way, blowing his shoulder out. He threw 100/FILTHY slider/underrated slow curve/legit change up & location.
@xiggy89x Not in the conversation for HoF or an all-time great. You can say he was the last of a dying breed (closers), but his approach was always to blow 4SFB by people who weren’t used to seeing 100 on the gun.
@meals_by_cug Hey paisan I know you must be tired from having to rinse the salt out of the bacala the last few days so treat yourself to this. You’ll never worry again about the olive oil getting everywhere like it’s your sister. Buon natale.
@MILFWEEED I’m trapped in a hell of my own creation because I told my friend his mom could use my Hulu and now all Hulu thinks I care about is Yellowstone and the Jon Benet Ramsey murder case.
even though I am very clear to everyone I give my Hulu login Do Not Use My Profile and Mess up the Algorithm, someone is working their way through casino (1995) painstakingly slow over the span of a week
The wealthier you are, the vaguer you are about your job. When people tell me they “work in business” I’m like ok so I guess you don’t steal stevia packets from coffee shops like I do
When I finish one of the thick boy books of my current fantasy series, I will read as many shorter books as possible while I wait for the next thick boy of the series to ship to my house. This is why I am broke.
@holyscheetz I would challenge this and say, specifically, people who drive entry-level BMWs and Audis. You don’t need to look for a white BMW 3-Series with the cheapest trim package because they will always be directly behind you.
@JJFree2381 This is low key one of the funniest tweets. They just have a cave-like system of 70 people in the back or everyone works a half of a shift per week
