I was delighted to participate to the handover ceremony of specialized computer hardware and software for Petroleum Engineering education to three of Uganda's leading universities: Makerere, Kyambogo, and Nkumba Universities.

Our commitment to youth inclusion and education as well as our support for enhanced🏥health care aims to empower young people to drive positive change and contribute to the sustainable development of our host communities and 🇺🇬.

St Mary’s Lacor will train and certify🧑‍🎓50 out of 100 young people from the Tilenga project area in Nursing and Midwifery. The 2.6-year programme which starts in July 2025 commemorates our Company’s 100th anniversary.

📰📣I am pleased to announce that @TotalEnergiesUG has signed🤝a Memorandum of Understanding with St. Mary's Hospital Lacor Training Institute, Gulu as one of the implementation partners for our🧑‍⚕️Nurses’ training scholarship program.

They will study in some of the best oil & gas institutions in the world🤩and receive international certification to work on the #Tilenga Project when production begins.

📌Today, we have achieved another milestone with our #Tilenga Academy programme. The first group of 100 students are heading✈️to France, Malaysia, & Oman for advanced studies in oil & gas operations & maintenance. 🔗totalenergies.ug/publications-0…

The students will undertake further studies at Ordinary & Advanced levels of education in some of the best high schools🏫in #Uganda. Through these annual scholarships we are demonstrating our commitment to young people & contributing to socio-economic development of our community
