@RonoAnalyst Trust me, I’m all for a good rebuild, but this team was already too good to be a bottom 5 team which is where you need to be to get legit lottery luck - Flyers would be in the WC in the west right now, they’re significantly closer to the playoffs than the basement

@TheFlyersZone You don’t want to hear this but being patient and finding the right trade-UFA-or draft pick that can fill that void is what is necessary at this time. 1C and/or 1D do not grow on trees. A little luck plays a part in it too. Compiling assets for that one opportunity will matter

@caseyfeeney66 But those are special teams plays where possession is changing hands by design - this is the defense getting an arbitrary takeaway by not taking away the ball. Just doesn’t look or feel right either.

@caseyfeeney66 No possession yet on punt or kickoff, and if you fumbled the ball forward on the sidelines on any other part of the field it reverts back because the defense didn’t recover it, so the defense now gets a takeaway for not taking away the ball? Perhaps the worst rule in all sports

@caseyfeeney66 Come playoff time I don’t think you can rely on a backup stretch 5 when the other team goes small against our Embiid-less lineup … Montrez has some very reliable low post moves, is a good offensive rebounder and a consistent lob threat
