Some kind of doctor or something. Nothing useful to say, mostly here to complain.

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼♀️

I don't know if this is a Europe, Spain, or Barcelona thing. But there's actually strong social pressure here to constantly show that you're "living the life." It's very similar to the "keeping up with the Joneses" or flexing culture in the US. Except instead of comparing homes, cars, job titles, and trophy wives, you're comparing vacations and nights out via Instagram stories, reels, and photo albums. I often feel compelled to do certain things that I don't really care for. Just so that I won't be the idiot who, when people ask what I did all weekend or summer, says, "Not much. I just chilled at home." Is it really such a crime to do nothing? I actually enjoy my home, my Netflix, my cooking at home, and my not going anywhere just because it's a long weekend, the summer, or whatever stupid public holiday. My home is actually very comfortable. But no, "I must" pack my entire summer with as many activities and trips as possible, otherwise I'm letting life pass me by! I'm so sick of this FOMO culture, and I'm actually starting to embrace JOMO culture (joy of missing out). Almost like an act of protest against this "hedonism for its own sake" mentality that many people in Europe seem to have.

Two years ago dad passed away from complications of a catastrophic fall. He was a quadriplegic for five months before his passing. I have a video of him playing soccer with my son just a couple of months before his fall. Running, laughing, playing his favorite sport and being a great grandfather. I’m grateful for this video. This is how I want him to be remembered

This might come as a shock to Christians, but it is a sin to tell your spouse "no" when they ask for sex, barring a severe circumstance. How many marriages do you think have been destroyed because we pretend this isn't a sin?

Fun fact. In the Lord of the Rings films, most of the Riders of Rohan were actually women with fake beards because when the production put out a call for local experienced riders, a lot of women showed up with their own horses.

Regardless of how much you have loved your parents, your pets, or your friends there is nothing that will prepare you for the love you will have for your children All consuming, sharply painful, terror inducing, mind melting love A new feeling, it shouldn’t even be called love

Every new car in the U.S. will be required by law to have tech that puts constant surveillance on the driver by 2027. AI in your car will determine if you're sober and fit to drive, automatically turning off the vehicle if it determines you're a danger on the road.

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

People call it "homesteading" or "permaculture" because "garden and chickens" sounds like something poors and old ladies do. Middle class striver types who post about their gardens/hobby farms need to feel heroic and groundbreaking rather than doing boring peasant grandma shit.
