The Sierra Leone Bar Association is having its elections on the 18 May and already the campaign has degenerated into an all political spar between Ruling Party backed Candidate @TumaGento and Opposition backed candidate @WaraSlba52251. @SoeMarrah who is independent and has been a critic of both political parties and in the court of public opinion, the best candidate has suffered betrayal from some of his friends and club mates for political relevance. Today, I witnessed the loading of iron ore onto the vessel Leone Fortune, purchased and owned by the Leone Rock Metal Company. This is the first time in our 90-plus years of mining that an iron ore mining company has bought its own vessel to ship its products

Citizens told us via our @StrategicComm weekly engagements that “kush” crisis is a top concern. Yesterday @PresidentBio directed Chief Minister @dsengeh to convene a civic - ministerial dialogue on urgent steps to tackle the crisis. Today the CM chaired the 1st inter-ministerial and citizens’ public conversation on the matter. I argued that we should prioritize a civic engagement/ public health response.
