@PiXiong_3 @globalimmuno Our work on PGPC spans many years. Lots of good fortune and hard work. CD14 is a receptor for PGPC (not the only one). Upon endocytosis by CD14, NLRP3-ASC-Caspase-1 activate Gasdermin D, leading to IL-1 release. The IL-1 stimulates memory T cells.

C) Zinc fingers mediating subunit interaction: we were able to model 5 zinc-binding sites based on cryo-EM density, and showed that removing zincs could disrupt IFT-A biochemical stability.
