@SandyofSuffolk How old ARE you Sandy? What year was it when you were ‘young’ because most of this didn’t happen in the 1970s when I was young

When I was young. Children were seen and not heard. Children were toilet trained by the age of 2 or 3. Children were put to bed at 6pm after the Magic Roundabout. Children were taught to read, write, tell the time and tie their shoelaces before starting school. Children ate what was given to them at mealtimes or they went without. Children were given the cane or slipper at school for repeated instances of misbehaviour. Children were given a clip round the ear by the local bobby for scrumping. Children had to ask for permission to leave the table. Children were taught to always say please and thank you. And thank you for having me. Children walked, often a couple of miles, through the snow to school, and the school always remained open. Children who pinched stuff from shops were apprehended by store detectives and the police came. Children who got into trouble at school got into even more trouble when they got home. Children weren't given choices, playrooms or anything other than a birthday party at home. Children wore hand me downs, not £100 trainers. Children got pocket money to buy sweets or a comic, not an allowance. Children couldn't wait to get a job to earn their own money, a part of which was given to mum for 'keep'. Then I was old. And these are now just a dim and distant memory for most of us. And unbelievable to many more. These things will soon be consigned to the annals of time and to the pages of history books. Online, of course. People will gasp. Oh the horrors they endured! But the degradation of society will continue. And people won't be able to understand why. But we'll know.

Rupert Lowe claims support for Restore is sweeping Makerfield and that dozens of people are approaching him saying they’ll vote Restore. But the only footage they’ve got is him in front of a bar full of the candidates friends and family. Funnily enough there’s no footage of him pounding the pavement being swamped by supporters. Almost as if no one has a clue who he is.

Here’s something the right really should be thinking about. In the May local elections across the eight Makerfield wards the numbers looked like this: Reform 50.4% Labour 22.7% Green 10.9% Conservative 9.9% Lib Dem 3.8% On paper, the right should walk that. But if that vote gets split three ways between three right wing parties all fighting each other, things suddenly start looking very different. Andy Burnham doesn’t need 50%. He just needs to come out ahead of everyone else. That’s the danger. Three parties all saying they want change, all saying they represent ordinary people, all attacking each other instead of focusing on Labour, could end up handing Burnham a route into Westminster. Not because Labour are massively popular. Not because Burnham is unbeatable. But because too many egos and too much division handed him the win. Nobody can really say they weren’t warned. Honestly, if I lived there, I’d probably feel politically homeless right now.

Andy Burnham’s bad temper surfaced twice this morning. When Farage made the spontaneous decision to pop into a local cafe for refreshment, where Andy was present, he left in rage. He also refused to answer questions about his position on the EU with the Express’s Aaron Newbury.

Reform’s Makerfield candidate Robert Kenyon has caused outrage in Westminster for daring to suggest: The NATIONAL health service should not become the WORLD health service. Britain should CONTROL immigration. Labour’s “early release” scheme for prisoners makes no sense whatsoever. And politicians in Westminster should get out more and try to understand why so many British people were so angry about the Southport atrocity and having asylum hotels dumped on their local communities. I hate to break the news to The Times and London commentators but the vast majority of British people - including the good people of Makerfield and the Red Wall, fully endorse these views.

Could this legendary gentleman please get in touch. A future Reform government would like to give him a peerage for this outstanding public service. He can do similar to all the crooks currently sitting in the House of Lords!

😱 SHOCKING TV MOMENT: Labour Peer on Live TV Says “This is Where New Labour Leads - Perversion and P*dophilia” 🚩 A senior Labour Lord went rogue on Sky News with a jaw-dropping attack on his own party. Lord Maurice Glasman, founder of Blue Labour, declared: “The Party has to reject New Labour… this is where it leads - perversion and p*dophilia.” He called New Labour an “alien body” that hijacked the party and led it straight into moral decay. This is a brutal inside indictment: • Tony Blair - the architect. • Gordon Brown - his successor who continued and deepened the New Labour project and remains a key Labour figure under Starmer. • Alastair Campbell - the spin doctor. • Andy Burnham - the so-called “fresh hope” who served as a minister deep in the New Labour machine under Blair and Brown. They keep trying to sell him as brand new, but he’s been there for decades. When a Labour peer openly warns that this path ends in perversion and p*dophilia, you know the legacy is toxic. Shocking stuff.

🚨🇬🇧 Andy Burnham’s Greater Manchester authority funnelled hundreds of millions in public loans to developer Renaker. They built luxury skyscrapers packed with penthouses. Barely any affordable homes delivered. The tycoon takes £40m+ dividends and relocates to Monaco. This is champagne socialism in action. Public cash for private luxury under Burnham. Andy Burnham has serious questions to answer. @KarenQuinn1973 #AndyBurnham #Manchester #HousingScandal #TaxpayerCash

HERE'S TO YOU: MRS BURNHAM: AKA: Marie‑France van Heel For Some Reason Mrs Burnham Prefers Her Maiden Name... THE BASICS: CONFLICT OF INTEREST Kitchen Table Small Talk?? Ms Van Heel (Burnham) is a Corporate Mover & Shaker: She is a Director, now sits on the board for Manchester-based public electric vehicle charging network Be.EV. Be.EV is a trademark owned by Iduna Infrastructure Limited -- Be.EV is majority owned by Octopus Energy Generation’s Sky Fund (institutional investor) Recent reporting confirms: “Be.EV is majority owned by Octopus Energy Generation’s Sky Fund, including an employee ownership stake.” Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester. Has political influence over transport, planning, and regional strategy, including: Public transport integration Clean air/green infrastructure narratives Potentially the policy environment in which EV infrastructure grows. Public authority: Greater Manchester (Burnham). Private investor: Octopus Energy Generation. EV Operator: Be.EV Personal link: Burnham ↔ van Heel. At present, what’s publicly visible is: She has clear, declared corporate roles. He is a regional political leader. The overlap is obvious enough that: It should be transparently declared in any relevant decision‑making. Scrutiny from media and opposition is inevitable and legitimate. What Is Clearly Known Is The Burnhams Have Considerable Wealth And Power: THIS NEEDS LOOKING AT BEFORE ANDY BURNHAM ASKS FOR VOTERS TO GET HIM OUT OF THE MAYOR'S JOB AND INTO NUMBER TEN. ON OPTICS ALONE -- IT LOOKS TERRIBLE... Interesting Note: Mrs Burnham, while Dating Andy, appeared on BLIND DATE, as a Single Woman looking for a Partner... Serious Fame Junkie Vibes...
