@alxaex The post informs users about possible risks to the contracts but doesn’t mention anything about WHY the parameters are changed or the potential benefits. I suggest the What / Why / Impact / Next steps or other change management framework to write announcements.

TL;DR: check your scripts' CPU costs. If they are high, they may break

Dear Dapp Developers, Following a recommendation by the Plutus Cost Model Team based on new benchmark calibration results (github.com/IntersectMBO/p…), Intersect’s Parameter Committee proposes to alter a number of coefficients in the CPU cost model for multiple UPLC operations. The changes are: - an increase of divideInteger (c11) from 549 CPU units to 960 CPU units in Plutus V3 - an increase of modInteger (c11) from 549 CPU units to 960 CPU units in Plutus V3 - an increase of quotientInteger (c11) from 549 CPU units to 960 CPU units in Plutus V3 - an increase of remainderInteger (c11) from 549 units to 960 units in Plutus V3 - alterations to the cost curve of equalsByteString in Plutus V1, V2 and V3 Collectively, these increases carry a possible risk of transaction failure for scripts that are near their CPU cost cap today and that use these primitives. While it seems unlikely that live scripts would be broken by this change, we recommend that all Dapp Developers should check their scripts’ CPU costs against the new cost model that will shortly be enacted on the Preview network. Further context: The next intra-era hardfork (vanRossem) will introduce new Plutus primitives; The implementation of these approved CIPs: CIP-109, CIP-132, CIP-133, CIP-138, CIP-153. These primitives will be activated with a Parameter Change Governance Action post-hardfork, alongside which, the above parameters will be changed. If you have questions reach out to the Parameter Committee Co-Chairs on X: @alxaex or @ensurablesys Thank you!

@DarkieSlayer0 @CryptoIRELAND1 @elonmusk It is great advise to understand how Cardano works, Ada would be perfect for people who live under rocks seeing how decentralised it is. Just saying.

If you could only hold one Cardano native token in your wallet, which would it be?

@NicolasC3rny @IntersectMBO The red banner is misleading and misinforming. Congratulations for giving the perception there is something wrong with our decentralised governance.

Keeping GovTools funded is a great move @IntersectMBO 👏 Let's refine the budget, cut some fat and get that budget up as an info action. We need a governance tool as a public good that anybody in the community can leverage and build upon! Source: Intersect Newsletter

BREAKING NEWS: USDC IS COMING TO CARDANO 😱😱😱 IOG CTO Romain Pellerin @rom1_pellerin says Cardinal can bring $USDC from #Bitcoin onto Cardano, leverage it in smart-contracts as well as providing it with compliant confidentiality through @MidnightNtwrk How will Bitcoin holders respond to using $USDC on Cardano’s platform?

No, you don’t need 100 features on your wallet. You just need the ones that people actually use.

Do you think it is worthwhile to have an academy on Cardano and onboard new developers? Been thinking a lot about that lately and if we should take that quest. That would be a Catalyst proposal, so the fee for the academy would be very low/non-existent. Using open source teaching platform like Moodle everyone could register and join to learn and we would have a fast paced curriculum teaching everything from Plinth to Aiken, from Hydra to Midgard. What do you think Cardano Community?

@Jennycitalinda I use eternl, but the only issue is eternl being a gatekeeper of dApps on the *mobile* wallet. I would really like to connect to dApp of my choice instead of being restricted to dApp listed by eternl.

Dear Cardano, I recently imported my Nami wallet into Lace, but it's unusable. Any suggestions on wallets that support the Nami multipple account function that you could recommend moving it to? I have over 30 accounts in there, delegating to different pools 🥲 halp! 🆘️

@bigpey I don't like paying taxes. So I would say America. But this is the public policy problem inherent in geographically-based gov't entities attempting to regulate decentralized, digit assets that are not geographically-based.
