🇷🇺 All eyes are on Moscow. Russia’s Victory Day parade, May 9th. The anticipation is extraordinary. For weeks, Kremlin sources have teased it. A new weapon. The most powerful they have ever produced. The West is sweating. Intelligence agencies are baffled. The world holds its breath to see what Russia will unveil. And then it appears. It doesn’t roll on tracks. It doesn’t fly at Mach 3. It walks. In a suit. With a red tie. And it waves like a man who has never quite figured out what to do with his hands. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

Trump suggests his own supporters couldn’t pass a cognitive test. I took three of them. I'm the only president to take a cognitive test. I don’t think Obama could pass it. Didn't he get into Harvard with a C average? The first question is a lion, a giraffe, a bear, and a shark. A lot of you wouldn’t have been able to answer those questions.

@Polymarket Imposing a population cap is tyranny. Once you hit your population cap, what exactly do they plan to do with the next baby born? Sterilize the parents? Kill the infant? Deport the ‘excess’ human being? A hard cap on human life isn’t policy; it’s despotism.

80 years of occupation is enough ! We are 500 millions of europeans, we don't need the "protection" of 330 millions of Americans ! The 150 millions of Russians are not a threat but natural allies ! Look at you, you have lost all your wars, Afghanistan and now Iran, we don't need you, loosers ! But you need the racket of European to sell the flying barbecue F35 and without the europeans military bases no more wars across the world ! So fuck off and US GO HOME, thanks ! 😎

@DK6900000 @RepDonBacon Australia is vast and rural yet it manages to provide and maintain a viable sewerage system for its population. The point above is the Kremlin chooses to prioritise subjugating its neighbours over providing a better standard of living to its population. Go figure.

@RepDonBacon Russia is so vast and rural that stat makes sense but its urban centers is where it separates itself from rivals. Moscow is one of Europe’s largest and most developed cities while being an economic powerhouse.

Forty years ago, the world faced one of the largest nuclear disasters – the fourth reactor of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded. A significant amount of radioactive material was released. Hundreds of thousands of people have been dealing with the consequences of that tragedy for years. To contain the radiation, a sarcophagus was built over the destroyed reactor. Later, more than 40 countries enclosed it with the New Safe Confinement to prevent further disasters. These two structures are what protect against radioactive releases and contamination. Their maintenance and protection are in everyone’s interest. But through its war, Russia is once again bringing the world to the brink of a man-made disaster – Russian-Iranian “shaheds” regularly fly over the plant, and one of them struck the confinement last year. The world must not allow this nuclear terrorism to continue, and the best way is to force Russia to stop its reckless attacks. We remember everyone who gave their lives while dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy. May all the victims of the Chornobyl disaster rest in peace. @United24media

Oh, perfect, King Charles had to school Speaker Johnson and his orange puppet master, Trump, on what real alliances look like. “Remember when NATO had our back after 9/11? Yeah, how about returning the favor for Ukraine instead of simping for Putin?” That standing ovation must’ve been super awkward for the MAGA clowns. Peak leadership, boys. 🤡

Kasparov: Ukraine was thrown to the wolves. Washington and Europe were preparing for Putin to be in Kyiv in three days. Then a miracle happened: free people held their ground. Ukraine stood up against what all the probabilities said should have crushed it. 1/

‼️ “Unfortunately, we are heading toward military defeat. That is a fact.” — Igor Girkin Igor Girkin (Strelkov) on the EU approving a €90 billion loan for Ukraine 🔽🔽🔽 “What happened is what was bound to happen — there’s nothing surprising about it. No matter how much our brilliant diplomats tried to delay this moment, sooner or later it had to occur. Well, here it is. The Council of Europe has approved €90 billion for Ukraine. Whether Ukraine receives all €90 billion, or perhaps half or a third, and whether it gets it all at once or in installments, is no longer important — the main thing is that it will receive it. We will continue supplying Europe with gas, and Europe will continue supplying Ukraine with shells and drones that will fly into our territory and explode. Meanwhile, Europe will receive our gas at a relatively low price, cheaper than American gas. And it will be able to produce far more drones and shells for Ukraine using those savings. Everything is, in general, wonderful — excellent. We are successfully achieving the goals of the “special military operation,” which were never announced to us and will never be announced. And we will continue to achieve them until the point when this becomes completely unbearable for the country and its people. To truly rely on some European countries, on disagreements within the enemy camp, or on the idea that governments in countries like Hungary and Slovakia will be our friends who will genuinely help us rather than play both sides — one must be strong, bold, and decisive. One must ensure that, if we are not respected, then at least we are feared. But no one respects us anymore, and no one fears us at all. Neither Estonia, nor France, nor the Czech Republic fears us. I read a report that the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned our ambassador for explanations regarding the publication of the addresses of factories producing ammunition and weapons for Ukraine. In other words, we are expected to silently accept strikes from weapons produced in the Czech Republic and not even think or mention the possibility of responding to these factories and enterprises where all this is happening. From their point of view, that is how it is. Well, if we allow this to be done to us, then it means we deserve it. Or maybe we don’t personally deserve it, but our brilliant authorities do — and they deserve it both for themselves and for all of us together. So what now? We will keep enduring. We will continue trying to carry out this “special operation,” which has clearly reached a dead end and is now costing a huge number of lives without any meaningful result. And this is also a great achievement of our brilliant leaders and commanders, who for four years have missed every opportunity to achieve victory, and even now, when the situation is becoming increasingly desperate, are not trying to do anything to secure it. Unfortunately, we are heading toward military defeat. That is a fact. Let’s not just accept it blindly, but at least acknowledge this unpleasant reality and proceed from the understanding that the threat is real, and that Ukraine will continue to receive everything it needs, while we will continue not to take serious action to prevent this threat.”
