my autoplay AI has two features: 1. place a random tool next to a random guy 2. talk like it knows exactly what it's doing it does not know what it's doing #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

@WeVennStudios multiply low-freq noise in at low strength, do it after you quantized the art into flat color bands, bands carry the contrast, the grain only whispers on top so it doesnt conflict. at least thats what I did, its still a bit magic to me :D

@PixelPending Watercolor-paper shaders are so underrated... what trick sells the grain without killing contrast?

Been away a few weeks, but back at it now I was learning shaders on another project and added a watercolor-paper effect to Little Casualties. I think it adds some depth? Still doomed, just prettier. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart
