@BartekBato The true friendship may egzist only when debts and bills going to be paid fairy like the war reparations germany owe to Poland.

@missydelite @nyaraVT That doesn't actually work. Like. It's been tried. And it doesn't work. Human brains have sexual dimorphism - men's and women's brains are wired different, only slightly, but they are. Trans people literally have the other sexes brain, and modern medicine can't fix that.

Being trans sucks. Transitioning isn't ideal and it will never remove gender dysphoria completely. No meds will give me my childhood back or fix how horrible society is. But I'm glad I did it. I wish I didn't have to struggle, but I'm finally able to live as my authentic self.

@ADoL7382827 @BartekBato Sorry, what? Germany has paid it's reparations in full and the polish government has repeatedly confirmed this, even long after the Soviet Union fell.

Trans Derangement Syndrome is a real thing, here are the symptoms of TDS! -constantly going online to harass transgender people and on purpose try to discriminate and attempt to make them harm themselves -imagining imaginary scenarios about trans people and attacking them for it instead of something realistic. -actively want to kill, imprison, or dehumanize trans people. -constantly question and stalk people around you to try to see if they’re trans. -imagining every trans person is a criminal that will commit horrid crimes -automatically assume very bad things about someone just because they’re trans.

@VagabundoXtra @spooked75 They're not, they're being trained by them. In exchange for European industrial support (arms deliveries). Ukraine has repeatedly stated they do not want actual military support. They want tanks and ammunition. We're giving them that.

European forces are being trained by Ukrainian veterans to fight a 21st century war while the US is still conducting warfare like it's the 20th Century.

@jasonprgressive @nonregemesse Bluntly put, Putin has yet to threaten an EU member with annexation. I feel the need to point out that Putin is very good at something Trump isn't good at at all: soft power in negotiations. He's usually nice and friendly. Trump isn't. Unfortunately, that makes a difference.

@nonregemesse Europe is confused. They actually show more backbone against trump than they do of Putin. It’s really weird tbh. They could easily beat Putin yet are too scared to renotely do anything like what they could. I think trump is trying to make them realise they can do things.

Something I don’t understand is the US insistence on Europe developing militarily again, which in itself is fair and good, but at the same time trying to make enemies of European nations. Threats over Greenland, talk of leaving NATO, and now possibly something on the Falklands. Surely you want your friends to be strong and enemies to remain weak. Why turn weak friends into strong enemies?
🏛 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 🏛@nonregemesse

The US position on the Falklands is a real betrayal when you consider the wars Britain has joined them in for the last 40 years

@javisaidathing @nonregemesse I mean IDK about great Britain but America betrayed the EU first. 'Member Greenland? Member the taffirs out of nowhere, based on an objectively incorrect narrative? Yeah. You reap what you sow.

@LordRatdog @nonregemesse The last time this ally called for aid and the entirety of NATO showed up - 9/11 - it turned out to be 20 years of Sandbox mostly about money and oil.

@nonregemesse Your ally called for aid against an enemy who has been killing Americans for 47 years. Britain ignored the call and lectured Americans. Now you are free to defend your holdings alone.

@JohnTGrod @nonregemesse ...no, no Europe does not hate America. Europe used to LOVE America. Adore it, even. And on a sidenote, the Marshall plan is paid back in full, Europe does not owe the US any money, and in fact is one of the primary purchasers of US debt. You literally owe Europe money.

Seriously? Literally. I’m asking. Are you blind, deaf and dumb? Europe and the UK hate America. You ONLY tolerate us when we pretend to be like you, worship you, elect traitorous presidents who bend the knee to you…. All while you mock us, take our money, use our military and then tell us that our system sucks. Give me a break.

@JimJamSWFC94 @ShirouE00580445 @nonregemesse What’s the moral argument for the UK to keep the Falklands vs Chagos or HK or any of their other pre WW2 colonies? I’m not trying to pick a fight, I’m trying to understand the foundational claim to why some islands and not others.

President Trump: “You have to remember, we have 45,000 troops in Japan, 45,000 in South Korea, and 50,000 in Germany.” We defend all these countries, and then I ask them: “Do you have any minesweepers?” They say, “Well, would it be possible for us not to get involved?”

@_IamMZA @TBrit90 Europe itself also provided a significant amount of support. Germany for example provided almost a quarter of the support the US did to Ukraine. How an absence of US support would change the equation I can't tell you, but absence of US support does not mean no support at all.

@PlatiusC @TBrit90 I don’t think that’s an unfair assessment, but I do think the war has, for a significant part, lasted this long due to American support. You can’t take that away but I’d be curious to see how thing would have been different had support never been provided.
