@notpharex @pinch_of_black No one will pick. My only guess they were threatened by google to do so because of an influx of low quality/ad fraud sites. And to save current sites they already have they did the above. Otherwise it makes 0 sense; they could of implemented $100 review fee for new sites etc.

@pinch_of_black i'm honestly still confused at their reason for this - to what end? why will a functional human being at 250k monthly users pick them over others like Raptive? they need to make it make sense.

@Hightrafficsite @nicheprojectguy I have 5 sites on MV, and a few on Ezoic. All sites on MV have a lot higher RPMs, with A LOT less ads. I don't see why any established publisher would ever go with Ezoic.

🚨 Breaking - Ezoic now requires 250,000 monthly users for new publishers to get approved. Some Early Insights 1) Ezoic is the go to network for people using Pure AI images in their sites after Mediavine and Raptive became choosy. 2) Big Question - Ezoic mentioned they will give a 90 day window for publishers who opt out and then plan to rejoin. Will this apply for people who sell their sites, will the new owners get access without 250k users? 3) Market hasn't changed. Advertisers are ready to pay , publishers are ready to host. Only the medium has changed its stance. 4) Will new players come emerge? Will we see more RPM from Monumetric or Adsense? Will Mediavine and Raptive give a slight tweak to their approval process to allow small players. I feel Ezoic might change their stance and might allow more sites in incubator if the quality is good. Lets see how it goes.

Today Ezoic changed it's minimum traffic requirement for new applications to 250,000 monthly users. This is a public alignment with what we've been doing for years - which is building an integrated solutions for larger web apps and publishers with first party data.

Ohh so that's what a total data center outage over night looks like @linode. Not a fun way to start a Sunday. First time I've had *any* kind of outage in over 6 years. Likely not the last, so time to put back on my IT hat and build a way to mitigate against this kind of outage.
