She is a wanna IG influencer masquerading as a journalist. First she was at ndtv (rookie reporter) then realised business journalism is the big thing so went to MC (no financial knowledge) and then to health (cos health is big). Only fluff.
Wordita@wordi25

It isn’t her looks, it’s the very serious way in which she talks about non topics. I mean she was talking about cockroach party having more Instagram followers as seriously as someone would talk about wars or recessions.

@LtColAnilDuhoon Wahi jisme ji rhe ho, educated class ka delhi gymkhana se koi lena dena nahi hai, it is a colonial BS, continued by the new elites, just to be exclusive to them. This is the colonial hangover.

One of the most dishonest arguments. Most KIA in Kargil were Sepoys. Can their families go play a game of squash in Delhi gymkhana and jump in the pool when this entitled windbag is in it? He would protest that its only for people like him with generational privilege. Half of the actual bravehearts are under 25 & lowest rank. <10% fatalities are commissioned officers.

He served his country by putting his life on the line. He has a right to speak, and he pays an annual membership fee. As for loitering which is illegal, a bonafide member has a right to use a property. A vast number of members at this ‘elite’ club are defence personnel who defended the freedom we enjoy.

Chishmish anchor says Gen Z are paying taxes, paying rents, they are protesting because they don’t have jobs. Such an audacity to say in one sentence that they are paying taxes they don’t have jobs

Dalal Rajdeep's totally fed up look at 30 seconds summarises this 111 second BS from @Sonal_MK ... he's like "she has a long way to go before she understands real India" Low on content, high on histrionics ... early signs of HPD

Remarkable response by this retired bureaucrat KC, a former India ambassador, justifying the “Gymkhana Club” privileges. It gives you a glimpse of the mentality of Indian Babudom. “… bureaucrats since 1947 worked for salaries well below private sector doles.” No one forced these Babus to work for the GOI. Why didn’t they work in the private sector? Interesting choice of word “doles” here. “Doles” are a feature of state, not private sector. Is he for real?

The level of discourse on Indian TV has to be heard to be believed. Yes, there is the farce of “debates”, but this, with people that are employees, is even worse. Whether you agree or not is different, but the vapidness of the arguments is so unreal that you have to watch it again just to convince yourself “yes this happened” One thing I do admire is the confidence they have; they genuinely believe they are saying something profound, and as someone who has suffered from acute self-doubt all through my life, I truly am in awe. That is why they believe they can become a professor at Harvard, they genuinely think this is the standard by which the world works It’s a rare sight to see Rajdeep, by staying silent, emerge as the one with the most refined views.

To the people accusing me of just wanting fifteen minutes of fame, remember: It is the media that made this about me. I would have liked it to be about press freedom in India. And press freedom in general in the world and other topics of my interest is also what I will continue discussing here.

Godi media, that has lost all credibility, lost all freedom, stands on the worst press freedom index in the world, is telling a journalist of a country that has the best press freedom, that she has a lot to learn. Lmao. Insufferable buffoons.
Anand Sankar@saybwala

"You have a lot to learn" - with that smirk on your face. @GaurieD you just performed a masterclass as a woman journalist in pulling down another young woman journalist in public. I hope you introspect.

The fact that prime time television in India is debating how a reporter could ask a question tells you everything you need to know about the state of press freedom in the country.

FYI, her father knew that his daughter was being beaten for dowry, and he went to her matrimonial/in-laws' house after her distressed calls. But, instead of bringing her back home alive, he tried to 'suppress' the matter (in his own words). Deepika's in-laws murdered her, but her own parents enabled her murder.
