To those who are always talking about ivermectin,
I worked for a vet and i have a farm. Deal with these meds daily weekly monthly yearly.. there are animal med just for animal and there are human meds just for humans dogs and cat cant have some of the same meds, pig and goat's are even diff, everything i take comes from the advice i get from my dr and my herbiest dr. I'm not trying to give any advice because i follow both my dr orders and so should everyone, and i always seek advice from the 3 vets i have and keep on hand for my animals .. Ivermectin is one that best universal type medications for perisites and deworming and i have found that it has helped me with other issues , I'm sure there are some animals and people that may be allergic to ???or shouldn't take with certain med.
Fallow the dr orders do your on research, make your own decisions. I've been given a dr ok and this is what i do or take..
1 of my dr prescribed ivermectin when i had covid and pharmacy wouldn't fill them. I said i have some injectable for my cow doc said oh good . (which kicked covid ass (do not inject) Doc said she would even have it compounded for me if i need.
Always follow the advice of your drs. Most Importantly, do your research on your doctors and choice wisely.
These days, most dr treat with pills that can be just as harmful and more pills for those side effects

Choose your dr wisely as well! And research any medication they prescribe before you take it. Sometimes I tell my dr i don't know about that, I will research it and get back with you on it if i decide i feel it will work for me. but My drs are cool with that and understand. Because i have found that some medications are worse on me than the actual issue I'm having..
In my research, ivermectin is a universal wonderful medication for parasites and deworming with different deliver systems, which is key to understanding its uses and how it works just like any other drugs.
Ivermectin paste, is made for horse made to be sticky to stay in the horse's mouth (like denture polident) I wouldn't want it in my intestine or my mouth for that purpose.
Ivermectin pour on is just that its pored on, skin delivery system which still has to be measured like any medication. I have a special sprayer with a dose amount on it to spray my cows with.
Ivermectin injectable, I have read that can be toxic if injected. I with my doctors under their care put the right dose in my orange juice as needed.
Every dr and their care is different. Consult with your dr first and foremost on anything you want to do.
