If people actually understood what "tokenization" means to the people doing it and the models by which it's being pursued probably every smart contract chain token would dump 50%. We gotta do better. Tokens are not for 'sending messages'--if you really really want to send a message using a blockchain you can do that without 'sending a token' (but generally, why especially for enterprise?). Blockchains are mostly designed for doing things with bearer-ish assets where the tokens are the assets or instruments representing the assets on a tightly coupled basis.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you should not be using revenues to buy back your token. I don't know why CT has become so fixated on buybacks, but in 99% of cases, they're a bad idea. Reinvesting revenues to grow the business > Distributing value to tokenholders

Just reading today about $PI. Very strange protocol. You mine it on your phone by solving Captchas once a day. There's a protocol-level "referral fee," so it has baked in on-chain MLM dynamics. And most interestingly of all, to move your mobile-mined coins to mainnet, you have to KYC your wallet, so presumably all mainnet accounts are KYC'd? Lastly, you can get "boosts" to your mining rate by locking up your tokens for longer. 2x the tokens for a 3-year lock. This is fascinating. It's now apparently a top 20 token, and I've never heard anyone talk about it. Anyone have first-hand experience with it?

I know an oddly high amount of Brazilians who live and work in Ireland Maybe it's lack of personal finance education in Brazil, but it doesn't make any economic sense whatsoever: They go to Ireland because they can make A LOT more money than in Brazil: average salary is $600/mo in Brazil vs $3,600/mo in Ireland, so 6x higher But then the sky high cost of living and taxes eat most of that up, it's 3x more expensive to live than Brazil while taxes are also way higher. So almost all the benefits you got from moving from Brazil to Ireland are eaten up by cost of living and taxes And you just moved from a place with nice weather for the most part to one where it's rainy, why?!

I use both and Android on my Samsung phone is much worse. It actually has this popup where it tries to get you to agree to periodic phone restarts. They are literally admitting that the phone is full of memory leaks, and they cant't do anything about it, so just restart now and then. As an engineer, I am disgusted.

I've never considered moving to Android ever, now I am Apple iOS is such a shitshow and every update it just gets worse It seems they've lost any respect for their users to actually deploy software that works It's like they're just deploying the alpha versions of new iOS to everyone now, it's a joke
