@DricusKaneXX@theblockspot Toughest team MJ had to beat was the Jazz… must’ve been nice competing for a chip during expansion years where all teams got diluted
@theblockspot Go fuck yourself for saying Lebron is the greatest ever...you know how stupid you sound, he's LOST more Finals than he's won. NO GOAT has a losing record numb nuts. You belong at ESPN like I belong in Harvard...
Drake is the greatest ever.
LeBron is the greatest ever.
Serena is the greatest ever.
Ohtani is the greatest ever.
Phelps is the greatest ever.
Messi is the greatest ever.
Brady is the greatest ever.
Tiger is the greatest ever.
Bolt is the greatest ever.
We have been so spoiled.
Players the Grizzlies should move the #3 pick for:
-Wemby
-SGA
-Jokic
-Ant
-Luka
-Tatum
-Cade
-Tatum
-Flagg
-Dylan Harper
-Scottie Barnes
If they get offered one of those guys, do it.
Any fake trade involving “Zach Lavine” or “Nic Claxton” as a centerpiece is foolishness.
@lockedonwizards Only chip was before the Jazz existed. Nice.
Since that point the wizards have a .400 average win percentage. Jazz have a .600 win percentage.
Hell, it’s been 46 years since y’all broke .600
@paradiseTacoma@lockedonwizards Glorified expansion team? Y’all got moved in ‘73. Utah got moved in ‘79. Both were “glorified expansion teams”. Do you even know what the fuck you’re talking about?
@PlatypusLyfe@GregFinberg It ain’t a lie that you can make more money off endorsements elsewhere. Also ain’t a lie that our “night life” is weak compared to other cities.
@GregFinberg@PointGuardLife8 2. For the same reason Utah fans are so desperate for AJ to stay; no one wants to play there. And Im not saying Utah is awful or anything, I’m just saying historically, they’ve had trouble attracting free agents.
Two things:
1. While the Wizards will certainly take calls for the No. 1 pick, that doesn’t mean they’ll actually trade it or even want to trade it.
2. Just because AJ Dybantsa played high school and college ball in Utah doesn’t mean he’ll force his way to the Jazz.
You can only save ONE from disaster, who are you choosing?
- KAWHI'S 2017 ZAZA INCIDENT
- DERRICK ROSE'S 2012 TORN ACL
- PAUL GEORGE'S 2014 LEG BREAK
- ZION'S INJURIES/DURABILITY
- JR SMITH'S 2018 CLOCK BLUNDER
- KEVIN DURANT’S DECISION
@paradiseTacoma@lockedonwizards In the last 40 years?
The only championship y’all won was before the Utah Jazz existed! But since the Jazz have been in the league, they’ve been a FAR superior franchise.
@getsit I just think in that time frame, Ace, Key, AJ/DP, Walker will all still be improving. But both JJJ and Markannen will more likely begin to decline. ‘29 is most likely our best shot with this current lineup. Past that we’ll need some other big pieces to make it happen
The reason the Jazz could thrash the Western Conference next year is the hilarious answer to the question of "Who's the 5th best player in their starting lineup?"
@paradiseTacoma@lockedonwizards Just as many as Washington, but with a few finals appearances.
20% win rate gap between the two franchises. Absolutely massive.
@getsit Biggest concern is Lauri at that point. 28-29 is the last year of his contract, but he’ll be 31. Will he still be as good or will we see a decline?
@PointGuardLife8 We’re going to have to wait out all those economic contracts the Spurs and Thunder are enjoying right now but maybe we can start hitting real paydirt by 2029.
Brother, Sarr ain’t even considered a top 50 player in the league. GTFOH with that bullshit.
I don’t know why Ace preferred Washington. He never made his reasons public and im not gonna pretend to know the dude. I can tell you why AJ chose Utah for High school and College. He made his motives public.
Highschool - one of the best basketball development programs in the nation
BYU - multiple top tier players (including KD) recommended it for his development.
Jazz have ALWAYS been a significantly better organization at developing players than Washington. It’s not even a debate.
@PointGuardLife8 1. Calling Sarr a mid-level player means you have zero ball knowledge
2. You have still declined to acknowledge my question as to why Ace Bailey tried to force his way to Washington instead of going to Utah
@gerrydee Disagree with only breaking 70. I'd move your scale. Break 65, that's a great golfer. I play with lots of guys that break 70. But it's really rare to watch someone break 65.
I have no idea why Sarr forced himself there. Family? He enjoys the area? Giving one example of a mid-level player wanting to go to Washington doesn’t make it apply to all players.
Back to the original point. The Washington organization is trash. That’s why MULTIPLE all-stars have joked about it being the team you go to for retirement.
He may not force himself to Utah. But he may try to force himself away from Washington
@Jazzketballl I’m a huge Wilson fan. But we have Walker (all defense) and JJJ (former dpoy). We don’t need more defense at the big position. If the Jazz need defense it’s at the wing/guard position
This Kid reminds me so much of Kevin Garnett.
He has to be the best two way player in the top 4. Boozer & AJ Defense aren’t close. Not sure DP is either defensively & the Utah Jazz need defense.
Is this possibly the pick at #2
I did zero math. ChatGPT did it all for me.
Further search. Over the last 40 years, Jazz have averaged .608 win percentage.
Washington has had zero games over .600
Playing in Utah gets a bad rap cuz we don’t have a “night life”. The org itself is definitely on the higher end in the league.
Washington is arguably the worst org in the league.
@PointGuardLife8 You just did a lot of math to say both teams haven’t been good.
If Washington is so bad, why did Alex Sarr essentially force his way there?
Or a better question: Why did Ace Bailey try to force his way out of the Jazz drafting him last year so the Wizards could pick him?
@tonyy_supreme@GregFinberg In the last 40 years, the Jazz have averaged a .603 win perfentage. The wizards have never had a single season over .600
They both suck now yes, but the wizards are arguably one of the worst franchises in history.
