A few weeks ago, we shared some of our favourite photos from Founder Summit 2026. Today, we’re sharing a short film that captures a bit more of what those few days felt like. 🎥⛰️ Over three days in the Bavarian Alps, 130 founders came together to step away from the day-to-day, exchange ideas, and reflect on what it means to build and lead in an AI world. Thanks again to everyone who joined us and made it such a special few days. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

We're planting our latest seed and are excited to welcome Aardaia to the P9 family! 🌱 We led their €5M seed round to back @PdraicFlood and Mike and the team as they domesticate wild plants into modern crops using genomic and computational breeding without genetic modification. Their first crop, the aardaker, is a native European legume that fixes its own nitrogen and grows a protein-rich tuber. The goal: reduce Europe's dependence on imported protein crops, starting with nearly a million plants already in the ground. The aardaker is just the beginning. The bigger mission is a whole pipeline of new crops for the agriculture we'll need. Excited to grow this one together! 🌿

Above the Tree Line 🏔️ That was the theme of our P9 Founder Summit this year. Over three days in the Bavarian Alps, we brought together 130 founders to step away from the day-to-day and spend time reflecting on what it means to build and lead companies as AI continues to reshape the way companies are built. We followed the journey from base camp to tree line to summit, but the most valuable moments weren’t on the agenda. They happened in conversations over coffee, on hikes, between sessions, and late into the evening. More than anything, we’re proud of the community we’ve built. Seeing founders—whether they’ve been part of P9 for years or are joining for the first time—share their knowledge so openly and talk candidly about the challenges they’re facing is what makes these gatherings worthwhile. A huge thank you to all the founders, speakers, partners, and the team behind the scenes who made it possible! See you above the tree line 🌲

Huge congrats to the @factorialapp team on announcing their $150M Series D at a $2.5B valuation! Ten years after being founded in Barcelona, Factorial has reset from a SaaS company into an AI Workforce Operations Platform, serving 16,000+ businesses across 90+ countries and becoming one of the most valuable scale-ups in Europe. Having supported the company since the Seed round, it’s been incredible to watch this journey unfold. Congrats to @jordiromero ,@bernatfarrero and the entire Factorial team. Onwards! 🚀

This week, we hosted the Energy Night together with @TransitionVC: an evening for the founders, operators, and researchers rebuilding Europe's energy system. The room reflected where the sector is heading: software-defined energy supply, AI for grid and asset operations, electrification of heat and mobility, and the next generation of European deeptech. The conversations were sharpened by a fireside between @davidhelgason from @TransitionVC and @pawell from @PointNineCap on what the Iran conflict exposed about Europe's energy security, where we lead and lag the US, lessons from scaling a complex multi-stakeholder ecosystem like Unity, and how AI is reshaping the system on both sides. We were also joined on stage by @JonSigvert from @ReelEnergy and @JoshuaKuepper from RIZM, two founders building at the frontier of the energy transition who shared candid perspectives from the ground. Excited for what's to come ⚡️

Today we @PointNineCap are excited to launch the P9 AI Fluency Index. One of the big challenges for many founders right now is to get their organizations fully "AI-pilled". We wanted to create a tool that that helps founders and CEOs benchmark their company's AI fluency and get recommendations on how to get to the next level. The index is grounded in published rubrics and posts by @zapier, @Fin_ai, @tobi @Shopify, @RampLabs, @AnthropicAI, @GetJobber, and @bassim_eledath. The old robotics playbook is becoming legacy fast. Vision-Language-Action models are moving from research curiosities into production systems, and the teams building them are shipping into real warehouses, construction sites and overall 3D world. What really stood out is that the leaders here aren't winning on architectures or compute — they're winning on data, with serious pipelines, daily episode reviews, and a discipline around collection that one team has actually gamified with an internal leaderboard. Europe has more depth in Physical AI than outsiders appreciate, the technical talent is world-class — and increasingly, so is the execution. And while humanoids keep taking the headlines, the real progress is happening in warehouses, on factory floors, and out on construction sites, wherever robots have to leave the lab and deal with the real world.

Last night in Munich, we hosted our first Physical AI Meet-Up, bringing founders, operators, and researchers into one room. Four talks and a lot of awesome real work to show. 🤖 Huge thanks to @SereactAI , @rerundotio , SE3 Labs and @SensmoreAI , for sharing work that's usually behind closed doors, and to everyone who came, stayed past the scheduled end, and made the room what it was.
