Chad Bianco is polling No. 2 in the California governor’s race and loves to talk about “waste, fraud, and abuse.” Trump style. In 2023, his total compensation as Riverside sheriff was $593,518, a huge leap over his predecessor’s salary. It was the highest for any sheriff in the state and much higher than the current governor’s salary. Does waste include his bloated pay?
