@midobecker_1 @VoteHub If Newsom has the best chance as you claimed then all he has to do is beat Harris for the nomination. If he cant defeat Harris it means he isn't the best. Simple as that. The numbers says Harris is the best. @virtueemoir29

This is a very interesting article. A few thoughts: - Harris is the front runner. She leads in virtually all of the national polling, and usually by double digits. She would enter with universal name ID and massive national network. (Her rivals, by contrast, would have to spend valuable time and money trying to buy it). - Her silence is strategic, let her rivals reveal themselves, define themselves, sink themselves. Harris has the unique position of campaigning for Democrats in the midterms and letting them fidget before she wades in and reshapes the entire arena. - The resistance to her is overwhelming elite driven. - They seem to becoming more afraid of her winning than confident of her losing. - She's difficult to attack without risking damage. - "She's only polling around 30%" is a complete bullshit dismissal, and a very weak attack line in a primary that's going to have a dozen candidates vying for the nomination. (I'm telling you, if you're in a primary field with 8-12 people, you're likely not beating someone taking 30% of the vote. If you think that, you don't know what you're talking about). - Most of her vulnerabilities are not unique to her, probably save for 2024 and bridging that gap. Most of her soft spots are something that most front runners have had to face. - Outreach shows repair work, strengthening the foundations, fortifying the flanks. - The article itself is hostile in its framing, but instead it shows the political reality: she is the strongest candidate, has advantages that money can't buy, and has the luxury of choosing her moment. nymag.com/intelligencer/…

There's been a shift: folks in every sphere are starting to see what's been in front of them the entire time. "Although the size of the lead varies by pollster, each survey has placed Harris ahead of Newsom, making her the most consistent leader of the early Democratic field." nextshark.com/kamala-harris-…

@virtueemoir29 Everything about MVP is already out there. She has nothing to hide unlike Gavin who has not been vetted yet.

Kamala Harris has been nationally vetted. Gavin Newsom has not. This is a very under-appreciated and under-acknowledged advantage of Kamala's going into 2028 — that the public and media know everything about her. It's Gavin's greatest weakness.

@virtueemoir29 Gavin is no match for MVP. He should have known that before bad mouthing and disrespecting her. Doubt MVP will even consider him for a role in her administration. I'll like to see AOC in a prominent role in her administration if she doesn't run for senate.

@virtueemoir29 @GypsyZuls Some people are really delusional to even think black voters will abandon Harris for Osoff. Not happening even in Georgia. They are just looking for what to hang on now that their 'frontrunner runner' newsom is slipping 😂😂

@GypsyZuls There's no way he thinks Ossoff rising to 3% will have him beat Harris — right? 😭 I mean I love the guy, but that's just delusional. Also, that "she only has 40% support among Blacks" is f*ing stupid LMAO
