Jeffrey Epstein was a Democrat donor and Obama supporter. Trump and Epstein had a falling out and never spoke after they got in a feud over a house they both wanted in 2004, well before Epstein’s sex crimes were exposed by his first criminal conviction in 2008. Progressives like to talk about how Trump’s name appears hundreds of times in the Epstein files, but this is because Epstein was an MSNBC-watching boomer lib who was constantly complaining about Trump to anyone who would listen to him whine. There are no communications between Trump and Epstein in any of the emails. A lot of people seem to believe that the Epstein files contain emails between Trump and Epstein, but this is progressive misinformation. The fact that so many people think this is also evidence of the fact that public perception of the Epstein files is mostly based on memes and people don’t have any idea what the Epstein files are, or what they contain.

No it’s not. People without vaccine passports were banned from restaurants, bars, gyms, etc. We weren’t allowed to board planes or trains. People were fired from their jobs for non compliance. So don’t gaslight me and say it never happened.

James Comey just went on national television and basically told the entire federal bureaucracy to sit quietly in the shadows, wait out President Trump, and hold the line until Democrats can take power again. And somehow we’re supposed to pretend this is normal? The former FBI Director openly talking like government agencies are supposed to resist elected leadership instead of serving the American people is exactly why millions of Americans no longer trust these institutions the way they once did. What really set people off was Comey saying “hang on 2.5 years, then we can rebuild,” because it sounded less like a former law enforcement official and more like a political activist rallying unelected insiders to outlast the administration. That’s the part fueling outrage across conservative America right now. Americans vote for presidents to run the executive branch, not to spend years battling entrenched bureaucrats who think they answer to their own political ideology instead of the Constitution. Then Comey tried framing the situation as career prosecutors and agents being “forced out” over investigations the president disliked, but critics argue the bigger issue is whether parts of the federal government became openly politicized against Trump from the very beginning. After years of investigations, leaks, raids, and nonstop media coordination, a lot of people hear comments like this and feel like the so called Deep State is not even hiding anymore. That’s why this interview exploded online so fast. Millions of Americans are tired of watching unelected power centers act like they should control the country regardless of who voters put in office.

Metzler is the D.C. Bar’s Senior Assistant Disciplinary Counsel who also went after @JeffClarkUS. Last week, his deleted and highly inflammatory tweets were made public, revealing that over an extended period he engaged in repeated tirades targeting Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Kash Patel, Elon Musk, and, of course, President Trump. Now that this has come to light, he is trying to quietly disappear into the bushes in the lawfare case against @EagleEdMartin, and leave others to carry it forward, as if that erases the problem. What he should be doing is apologize and resign in disgrace.
