@Jayde8700 Barack Obama established a $1.8 billion fund to compensate felons for their personal loyalty to him arising out of that time they stormed the Capitol and attacked police?

Barack Obama divided America. Not Donald Trump. Get your facts straight on how divisive Barack was.

Gen Z spends 68% of their food expense on restaurants and DoorDash. I don't have a lot of sympathy. They complain about affordable housing because they expect a house they see on HGTV, and not the 1,500 sq ft, 4 bed, 1 bath, no garage place their grandparents had.

@xoMommyDearest Sooo... You think the food from the IG video is gonna magically jump out of the screen and onto your table? 🧐 Get back to us when you get back from the store, tell us how much you spent, and how much time-value you lost shopping and cooking you could have spent grinding a wage.

While young Americans spent their morning crying about how expensive their Door Dash is, I watched multiple videos on Instagram looking for dinner ideas. This was free. Wasting money on restaurant food is a choice. Going out of your way to not know how to feed yourself is a choice. You eat 3 meals a day, every day. Learning how to cook is akin to knowing how to breath. Refusing to invest in yourself is a choice.

@MichaelLotfi When people say "stop eating avocado toast," it makes assholes like O'Leary and Ramsey look like dumbasses who think we're eating avocado toast at all. We're not. And it makes you look like fools to suggest we're too poor to deserve homes OR small luxuries like not shitty coffee.

This is the weirdest rebuttal Xennials always give when someone tells them to quit buying the Avocado toast. "It's only $15 a day." It's like a 5 year old's understanding of financial intelligence. That said, yes- inflation is a real problem neither party is actually truly prepared to deal with because that requires cutting spending and deregulation on a mass scale. However, this doesn't negate the fact that setting an extra $5k a year on fire so you can post pics of your Avocado toast on Insta is still STUPID. You may not be able to control the fire, but you can control pouring gasoline on it. Of course, if there's one thing we know about this generation- it's that their parents taught them zero sense of self-control/personal responsibility because, well, they are the ones that started the fire in the first place by giving us a $40T national debt and mass regulation leading to rampant inflation.

I like Kevin O’Leary, but assuming he’s right about coffee and sandwiches, which he isn’t, saving $5 on coffee and $14 per day on sandwiches over 260 work days is $4,940 Which means it’ll take a 30 year old 20 years to save up a 20% down payment on a median home in Nashville

@PolitiBunny You lived on ramen because you spent all your money on Zima and wanted something quick and hot to "soak up the alcohol" after getting home from the bars at 3:00 a.m.

@JoeCassandra Here's your harsh truth: - Inflation IS a problem - That 1000 sq ft house costs $450,000 with $45,000 cash down - Used cars cost $35,000 - What the fuck else do you do on vacation? Stay home and do laundry? "You don't deserve a holiday because you're poor."

Here's your harsh truth: Inflation isn't the problem. You just think you're entitled to every luxury. - You don't want to live in a 1000 sq ft house, it has to be 3000 sq ft - You need to drive a new car every 4 years - Vacation has to be at a nice hotel with room service - Dinner has to be Door Dashed because you're tired - I need a new iPhone every 18 months - Everyone goes to Disney World, so I deserve to as well No you don't. Make more money or be quiet. You're not entitled to eat out every day. Growing up, we ate out 2x a month, and it was a bag of burgers and a few large fries we split. "We shouldn't have to live like they did in the old days" No luxury is an entitlement. You still have to put in the work to afford it.

The way the internet has responded to this is so wild to me Turns out there’s a whole generation that doesn’t believe they can ever succeed in life so they just YOLO their money on stupid shit like DoorDash Meanwhile I’m making 10x what they are and I’m making lunch and meals and NOT doing DoorDash Sacrifice is literally how I saved $200K to be able to get a home It took me over a decade to do that Entitlement and lack of delayed gratification is destroying a whole generation How did we get here?

@CryptoMikli We ate out yesterday as something we do every week or 2 or 3. Under $10 for 2 people (Taco Bell). Spending $28 for one person for lunch/dinner is something we do maybe once a year. That's one of many reasons older generations are richer.

@HankVenture5 Uh huh... Meanwhile, the same person who acknowledges value meals cost $15, a car costs $35K and a house costs $500K is so confused they think wages for menial zero skill work are now $25/hr instead of $7.25/hr which makes their whole cause-effect assumption laughable...
