I hesitated sharing this because honestly it doesn’t show the full picture of the chaos that has happened and is still happening at the Atlanta airport. The mile long line you cannot see wrapped around that corner and none of those people could hear that the @Delta counter was closing. Fortunately I made it home last night after two days in an airport. BUT, I did so by buying a one way ticket home paying $600, and that flight was still delayed 7 hours yesterday! There are still hundreds of people left and no end in sight! I pray that things get resolved and people can get home. I pray that these airlines learn from this horrible event! @FoxNews @NBCNews @elonmusk @PaytonKMay

@ctlyle1 @Delta There is a group of 6 American teens stuck in Lima with @Delta tickets home (various cities) connecting through Atlanta. Their program in Peru ended Saturday—no real supervision. One 17yo girl was finally sent home via United but only after her parents called the US Embassy.

Atlanta airport is jam-packed. Mothers w/ small children on the floor in the terminal. Line for customer service is 1/2 mile long. No rental cars. Few hotel options. People’ve been stuck here 3 days. If there weren’t bigger national news- @Delta CEO would be dragged to testify.

After approximately 15 (I was delusional and lost track) flight delays, three flight cancellations, living for two days in the Atlanta airport, and sleeping on the floor, I gave up on @Delta. They were not being honest about delays.
