@posthog used to have a generous free tier. now they charge me for each session replay! I'm on "Pay-as-you-go" plan, and not making this much money! what to do ?

great post! thanks a lot for continuing to share these! we've been "devouring" the previous ones also! Probably not be the right place to ask - but in regards to LLM analytics - particularly traces - we've used the posthog CLI + AI SDK and all our traces contain all the duplicate context from previous traces and tool calls - thus largely polluting our context when we want to debug. We didn’t encounter this issue with other observability tools and couldn’t find the answer online (just an open ticket for compatibility between the AI sdk and posthog ai on github) Disclosure: we're on the free plan currently..

@GradyGaugler Are you using the managed reverse proxy or some other method? We can check if it's an issue on our side.

I cannot get PostHog reverse proxy to work for the life of me. PostHog will recognize that it's live after creating the DNS record but events just don't send no matter what I set the CNAME record name to or the API destination...
