I think the most eye opening thing about Wab Kinew’s latest rants about Trump and Epstein and Canada in a war that we aren’t even involved in, is how desperate the very people who condemn him the most vie for his attention. Wab wants SO BADLY to be acknowledged by Trump. He thinks it will boost his chances of winning (like it did mark carney) when he calls an election this year. When your Premier wants to be noticed by of the president of the United States, more than his constituents… that should be highly concerning. That should cause you to pause and think about what their intentions are. Does he really hate Trump as much as he claims when he’s begging for his approval like this? Does he really care about Manitoba (or even Canada for that matter) when he’s spending his time, day after day, trying to provoke Trump, Get his attention, and risk current trade negotiations—you know, those things we’ve blamed every economic failure on for the last year—for the sake of his own personal gain and euphoria in the event the Trump administration addresses this? As his friend and loyal MLA Nahanni Fontaine would say—but never look in the mirror to reflect upon—when someone shows you who they are, believe them. When your Premier shows you that he cares more about Donald Trump than your life, your struggles, your wallet and your future… believe him.
