Reality of Plains fires in a previously often burned grassland. Stringers of Eastern Red cedar resulting in problematic behavior and high intensity fire after years of neglect and only grazing. Leads to numerous days of firefighting whereas it would've been done in a day before.

Imagine if an animal existed that could take cheap excess grain and convert it to a very valuable & sought after protein that fuels humans. Naw, just pipe-dreams. And if it did exist, it would probably be pretty damn valuable & expensive. And people would be scared to own it.

I am a high desert rancher on land that solar development desperately wants to take away from me. It is by no means 'prime farm land', but I do feed 100 families beef, and I also provide wildlife habitat for deer, pronghorn, golden eagles, roadrunners, burrowing owls and the rare Peebles cactus. Solar belongs in town, on rooftops and over parking lots, not on open lands, period.
