A long overdue visit to the 🇦🇺 trade promotion office @AustradeIndia in #Hyderabad. The talented team here are experts in infrastructure, defence, health & mining amongst other sectors - and driving 🇦🇺-🇮🇳 business ties.

A heartfelt thanks to Dheeraj, security team @RGIAHyd I left my phone in the airport washroom and exited the premises, but thanks to his quick action and professionalism, my phone was safely retrieved. Kudos to him and his team for their vigilance, honesty & dedication!

I was immensely proud to graduate from this short (4 months - seriously long for someone who had to write their first essay in 37 years) @BlavatnikSchool course run for @FCDOGovUK on Economics for Foreign Policy. It totally stretched me but I learnt so much for my next role 🙏🏻

For this #WorldEnviornmentDay, made a visit to @WeAre_Re sites that manages #Hyderabad’s solid waste, industrial waste, plastic and e-waste. Absolutely amazed to see 8000 tonnes of municipal waste being managed everyday so that only < 20 percent goes to landfills.

We are all set for the screening of #Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort. I and my team are looking forward to welcoming our guests.

Met the team of @WeAre_Re to hear about the use of UK 🇬🇧 technology in converting building rubble to sand, their model of recycling used mobile phones to produce precious metals and their extensive sustainability work. Great example of 🇮🇳 company focused on protecting our planet.

Last week, a delegation of UK 🇬🇧 Airports supply chain companies met @RGIAHyd leadership team to share their wide expertise and experience in supporting airports globally. Useful discussion on potential opportunities to collaborate/partner with this buzzing #HydAirport

Delighted to address the 🇬🇧🇮🇳 Digital Water Working Group arranged this week of @WorldWaterTech & supported by @Pravalika_ on behalf of UK Govt. Co- chair Victoria Edwards call for action in adopting the innovation to solve some of the 🌏 💧challenges.

Yesterday I had two special guests from @UKinIndia's @biztradegovukIN team - @ris50 from @UKinKolkata & my former colleague @Pravalika_ from @UKinHyderabad - both are here for the @WorldWaterTech Innovation Summit with some brilliant 🇮🇳 companies I look forward to meeting Friday.
