But they chose to follow the lie of Griffin Gutless and continue to cover up! @pastorclint should release the tape!

Memories. Y’all laughed at @PastorMikeStone over that mess with HK. Tom Buck and Russ Moore? You chose the operative. Backing Beth Moore? Gone. Backing Tisby? Off the register. Backing Ray Ortlund? He literally told everyone to vote for Kamala. Thabiti? Comes out every four years to sway people to liberalism. It’s the longest list yet we still see the same problems in the SBC. Instead of standing on the Word and inevitably making enemies, the biggest names flow with the direction of the culture. And now that there’s a red wave, leaders feel more and more brave. But it’ll change if the foundation isn’t a commitment to solely truth and mission. We must do better than pragmatic, gutless, senseless, showy nonsense. Stand on what’s righteous, stop making it about people skills or tone, and influence the culture towards the Kingdom by living counter to it. #SBCDALLAS

Fellow Southern Baptist, while you’re at the annual meeting next week, I’ll be serving as Camp Pastor of our states RA Camp. While I’ll sure miss connecting with so many of you, I am convinced that there is no more important work than preaching the Gospel to so many young men…

@RyanGoodroe Sure. You can believe it’s biblically faithful and not beneficial/necessary, and im ok with that. I’m just stating that many of same arguments I’ve seen opposing Law will be used in a decade or two to affirm LGBTQIA pastors.

@PreacherCC Not a great take. It’s quite possible to agree with 100% of the biblical truth and theology behind the Law Amendment and yet not think it’s necessary and/or beneficial.

The same arguments that are being used to discredit the Law Amendment will be used to affirm LGBTQIA+ pastors in a decade or two. And all of these “I’m a complementarian, but” folk’s children will be making the same argument daddy did.
