my hands were shaking when i opened my laptop rent was 6 days overdue my girlfriend hadn't spoken to me in 3 days i had $340 left in my account i'd been unemployed for 2 months i downloaded polymarket because someone on X said "worst case you lose $100, best case your life changes" i put in $200 i couldn't afford to lose it i want to be honest about something i wasn't confident i wasn't some crypto genius i was just desperate set up polymarket bot that night, followed a guide i found in telegram it scans 5-min BTC markets and enters both sides when combined price drops under $1 i didn't understand half of what i was doing left the laptop open and went to sleep woke up at 6 AM $200 → $1,840 i thought it was a bug refreshed three times it was real i sat on the floor next to my bed for like 10 minutes just staring at the number called my girlfriend she didn't pick up texted her a screenshot she called back in 40 seconds that was 9 weeks ago account is at $34,200 now the bot runs every night while i sleep i still don't fully understand how it works i'm not sure i need to rent gets paid on time now she talks to me again some mornings i open polymarket before i open my eyes properly just to check not because i'm greedy because for the first time in a long time i feel like something is working what would you do with an extra $1,800 on day one?
