The fact that people are allegedly placing perfectly timed bets on military strikes and cashing out hundreds of thousands of dollars is insane. Polymarket not having customer verification or surveillance of insider trading is not just concerning it should be illegal.

Much of Polymarket's core trading infrastructure was built years ago and is now being rearchitected to handle today's scale. ClobV2 with deposit wallet was the top non-negotiable priority because it's what prevents ghost fills the added latency you've seen since v2 mostly comes from new order and wallet validation infrastructure. With that protection in place, reducing latency to the fastest we ever had it is now our single biggest focus. Over the next two weeks we have a series of releases dedicated to bringing latency down. Broadly, they target: - Rewriting one of the slowest internal steps in the order flow. - Smarter handling of activity bursts, aiming at reducing backed-up queues. - Reworking the order book and its data flow. The single biggest latency reduction in the plan. The first release in this series went live today. Expect the next latency releases toward the end of this week and next week.

The Prediction Markets Morning Run was held in Miami, bringing together a community of prediction market enthusiasts. The participants were lucky with the weather, and the atmosphere was as friendly as possible. In addition to the race itself, the team prepared quality merch, which was a nice bonus for everyone present. Luka is coming back! game 1 today: Lakers 14c vs Thunder 87c idk that feels way too low rumors about Luka Dončić returning for game 3 already pushed Lakers chances up to around 30c + they get home court yeah OKC probably goes at 1:1 or 2:0 before that but this series still feels way more competitive than the market thinks over 5.5 games at 28c honestly looks kinda nice @Polymarket gives Lakers only around 8c to win the series overall with LeBron+AD+possible Luka return? undervalued for me OKC is top with elite offense, consistent defense and SGA but this series definitely doesn’t feel easy

Polymarket is finally dropping Polygon ! Good riddance. Polygon is a dinosaur chain from the 2018 ICO era : - Most of their founder left already, no developpement. - 80% of the chain's activity is Polymarket - 2s blocktime (most UI slowness comes from this) - blocksize hovering around 50kb, major bottleneck There have been a lot of speculation about which chain Polymarket will migrate too but given their requirements of instant finality, large block size and cheap fees i see only one option. They will create their own ! Probably in the form of an Ethereum L2. And every chain needs it's token, which means $POLY is coming along with it. I wouldn't expect it next month, chain migration is a huge technical challenge, but a 6 month timeline seems realistic. In the meantime keep gambling, don't count on an airdrop to offset your losses but welcome it as a nice surprise when it comes.
