California Democrats - I already voted for Antonio Villaraigosa for Governor. He’s honestly the best choice. But if he isn’t your cup of tea - I urge you to take a look at Tom Steyer. I live in Xavier Becerra’s old Congressional district, I’ve had a front row seat to his style of leading for 26 years. He is the picture perfect definition of “Failing Up”. I can name ten things he’s fucked up and not two things he’s improved. Can’t name a single positive thing he did as an Assemblyman, or member of Congress, CA AG or HHS Secretary. But I know the names of his top aides going to jail, I know how many immigrant kids he lost as Secretary, I know what Gloria Marina means to him. He’s a meandering disappointment that lets casual corruption flourish all around him. He’s not our best or brightest, it would be embarrassing for Latinos to make him our national standard bearer.
