@WallStreetMav H1B is a dual-intent visa. Can be renewed up to 6 years and if the person proves to USCIS that either is a talent (long process via I-140 form or do a PERM certification) or the person marries a USC or permanent resident can apply to a greencard. Hope that helps.

@PressUnpause Pointing to 2 approvals out of thousands doesn’t demonstrate compliance. They need to show that applicants from affected countries are being processed (approved or denied) at rates comparable to everyone else.
