@AlexVolloFPL @AlwaysUtd14 Wow how stupid are you my man. “Own goal is not a defensive action” fucking clown, you make it as people intentionally score OGs all the time. Ofcourse it’s a defensive action just not a good one. So Senesi flick is also not a defensive action cause it was a shit flick ?

@FPLPhysioo The act of scoring the own goal does not count as a defensive touch, those are what the rules are.... In addition, honestly there was a clear 2nd penalty not given....

Just curious: what defines two defensive touches? Is it two defensive touches if it would have hit a third Bournemouth player before going in? Ex. Jimenez —> Senesi —> Hill —> own goal? So Senesi —> Hill —> Own goal is one defensive touch?

@AlexVolloFPL @laminestaa Where does it say so ? Cause if not then Hill has some explaining to do. And everytime a player scores an own goal from an attempted slide tackle on a cross is considered an intentional attempt to score an own goal instead of an defensive touch which ended up as an OG by bad luck

I love when people post FPL rules from the official website without understanding them. And most importantly, without even reading them in the first place.

@Niall__T @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL Obviously I can only fight with stupidity to counter you so let’s start again. Bruno crossing the ball is a defensive touch cause he was avoiding to score an own goal, 2nd defensive touch is the Senesi one before Hill intentionally scored an OG with his attacking touch. No assist

@Niall__T @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL Wow bro you made this way more complicated than it should’ve been. It’s really simple, there’s no intended successful/ intended unsuccessful/ unintended etc. Defending team on a corner does a defensive touch, period. Is it a shit or a glorious one it doesn’t matter.

@PrimeFrend10 @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL Again, I'll give you that they both meant to make a defensive touch but meaning well (intending to make a defensive touch) does not equal acting well (making a defensive touch). Same as how meaning to compliment someone can come out as an insult, my intention doesnt make it nice

@Niall__T @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL The rules are clearly written about number of defensive touches before an ATTACKER scores ( in this case any United player ) since that didn’t happen you only have 2 defensive touches ( both bad ones ) cause the other option is that they tried to deliberately score an OG

@PrimeFrend10 @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL I'd say his intention is definitely defensive, that's an "intended defensive touch". This rule doesn't mention the players intention, so as we have to look at how it turned out. As scoring an OG couldn't be 'defensive', then its taken 1 'defensive touch' x.com/i/status/20351…
Niall@Niall__T

@PrimeFrend10 @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL Yeah I'll give you that. You'd also be right if it said "two intended defensive touches" but again it doesnt

@Projwal_D @pebbldaddy @FplPing @OfficialFPL I don’t get these dudes that don’t understand this. Is it really that hard to understand an defender is either doing a defensive touch ( good or bad doesn’t matter ) or he’s intentionally trying to fuck his team by trying to score an OG ( highly unlikely )

@pebbldaddy @PrimeFrend10 @FplPing @OfficialFPL Going by that logic Senesi's touch isn't a defensive touch either. I'm sure given an option he would have intended to head it out instead of flicking it on the back post to his defensive partner 2 yards from goal. Defensive touch doesn't mean being successful with it.
