It was a very good hour. Michael Jordan was a perfect example of how a party witness can handle questions that may get to a non-perfect fact without spending 20 minutes arguing something that is obvious. In addition to just being Michael Jordan, so savvy and sharp on his feet while being charming. The defense correctly identified that they did not want to give him extra airtime in front of the jury. Yes the air reference was an intentional pun. #NASCOURT

I feel the same way. I don't think people understand it unless you have almost a religious fervor for it. You can't allow the purity of something to be destroyed if you truly love it. It's all, or nothing.

@speedmaverick The problem is, everyone listens to dealer techs now. They forget that they're not there to help you, they're there to make the company money. There are a few exceptions, but most of the time a tech just wants to get you to pay some money for them to fix it

They will absolutely file a motion for judgment as a matter of law as soon as the plaintiffs rest. That’s just standard practice and they will want to ensure that if they have to appeal they can point back to both the summary judgment denial and a denial of a motion for judgment as a matter of law as errors of law. Judge Bell identified to the parties that no one should file a summary judgment on the entirety of the Teams’ case against NASCAR because he believed that there were material issues a fact that needed to go before a jury. NASCAR still went ahead did it anyway. Which I understand them doing to preserve the argument for appeal. Judge Bell has to let them file their motion even if he has no intention of granting it. Same as with that summary judgment motion.

@jeff_gluck This kind of stuff is dumb. When NASCAR executives walk by and see this they just think to themselves that this person is an idiot. They are not all of a sudden going to be like "Oh now I get it. We fucked up". This kind of stuff makes them think even less of us fans.

My heart wants 23x11. But NASCAR is undefeated in court. And they've beaten an antitrust trial before. I just don't see any way that they lose this trial. If it happens, it will be the biggest upset in NASCAR history. I hope with all my heart it happens. But all statistics say it won't.
