You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything anymore. Everything is a subscription. Adobe, Notion, Spotify. You don't just buy things once, you keep paying every month. You literally have to pay for everything forever. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?

No matter what happens, do not birth just one child, give them siblings that’s the only family they’ll have. When you’re gone uncles, aunties and cousins won’t be there for them.

I’m not a prophet of doom, but anytime any of my mentee is leaving Nigeria for the first time overseas, I always advise that they do not keep all their eggs in one basket- No such thing as 23kg- Food, other 23kg- Clothes. It’ll be depressing if any of the bags got missing & you can’t retrieve it for weeks, what’ll you be eating/wearing?. I always prefer it’s split, food & clothes in both. One day, I was proved right, one of the bags got missing, never retrieved till date, only compensation given, however, the other bag contain a mixture of clothes/foods. Sad situation but it’s what it’s. How on earth is a JJC expected to navigate the first few weeks in a new country with no clothes. NB- Till date, I adopt same method too.

I'm currently studying the book of Mark and noticing that even though the Pharisees didn’t like Jesus, they always followed Him around, paying attention to everything He was doing or saying and ready to criticize Him. Nobody watches and criticizes you like people who don’t like you.

Saudi league knew exactly what it was doing with the fixtures giving Al Nassr all tough games in the last month and giving Al Haram all easy fixtures This kind of fixing should be illegal. FIFA needs to investigate.

I honestly don’t think ọkụ mmụọ means the so called hellfire, ọkụ is fire, mmụọ is spirit, so where is “hell” in that? To me, ọkụ mmụọ is a beautiful expression, the inner spark that keeps us spiritually alive. Other cultures have their own names for this. It feels like we traded some of the most meaningful words in our language for something far less rich. Across cultures, fire is understood as a living force tied to energy, renewal, and spiritual presence rather than mere destruction. When the word fire is mixed with spirit to form a single expression, it points inward to a vital, animating force, not a place of punishment.

"An ikwerre guy who said he is not Igbo, one day was filling data online and it reach to fill ethnicity but there is only Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba. The guy ticked Igbo. I simply ask him why ticking Igbo when you are not Igbo? he said there is no Ikwerre on the list, that Igbo is more related to Ikwerre. I asked him but Ikwerre is from Benin? Benin is more related to Yoruba na, why not tick Yoruba? If you are from Beni that means you are more related to Yoruba. He gots mad at me and said am not the one to tell him what to do, he stopped being nice to me until we signed out. Did I do anything wrong? ~~~~ Kosisochukwu.

The "Ligue 1 and Bundesliga are inferior leagues" narrative has been around for decades. It genuinely doesn't matter to me. Put Bayern or PSG in the prem and see what happens.
