@Jan_Leeming I used the breakfast club so I could get to work on time! Not many jobs that allow you to start after 9, especially if you work in education.

Am staggered that Breakfast clubs exist. Believed it was parents’ responsibility to feed their children. All part of the Nanny State mentality. The State makes people dependent on them - that’s control.
Ray Massey@raymasseytweets

@Jan_Leeming They attend @Keir_Starmer @UKLabour breakfast clubs instead. 😉

@unisontheunion @AndreaEganGS The sheer hypocrisy is breathtaking. Until you bother to support your women members absolutely nothing you say will ever be taken seriously. Be better.

WHY ARE TEACHERS LEAVING THE PROFESSION? •Lack of support •Class sizes •They are worked to the bone •Low salaries •Their time isn’t respected •Better opportunities elsewhere •Inadequate preparation for new teachers •Little to no student accountability

Random post of the day: I’ve been in business for about 30 years. Here are some things I’ve learned the hard way: - Most people don’t want you to succeed. - Most people, given the chance, will take advantage of you. They’ll pretend to be nice, cooperative, helpful, but ultimately, they are out for their own good. - Most partnerships don’t work. - Always get everything written down. When people break the agreement, you have it to refer back to. - You’ll fail a lot before you succeed. - True success is lonely and boring. - Treat every failure as a stepping stone toward the next success. - Keep your head down and your mouth shut; for all the reasons above, do your thing quietly. - Success is subjective; the most powerful form of it is having the freedom, ability, and courage to say no - not every deal is worth taking.

Earlier this month, the Women’s Rights Network, who obtained police data, published a report revealing that women and girls in unisex changing rooms are being targeted by sexual predators across England and Wales. 80 sexual assaults, 16 rapes and 65 incidents of voyeurism took place in leisure centres in 2023. lbc.co.uk/article/mixed-… A freedom of information request in 2024 revealed that 62% of trans-identified male inmates in UK prisons had committed at least one sexual offence. telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/12/3… When you admit men who claim to be women into spaces where women and girls are naked or otherwise vulnerable, the risk to girls and women increases. The evidence is clear and those still determined to deny it - you, @bphillipsonMP, every trans activist determined to push their unfalsifiable ideas about gender onto the whole of society - will rightly be judged by history as having enabled harm to women and girls in service of a dangerous, quasi-religious ideology.
Thomas Willett@ThomasWillett9

Because there is no evidence to suggest that trans women using women’s spaces increases abuse against cís women. Ban trans women and nothing changes. The problem is and always has been abusive cís men, who you conveniently shield in your transphobic campaign.

Transphobia is simply homophobia with a different name. Never forget. There’s a reason transphobes are all-around bigots.

Women stop running in the dark in winter. Women learn to walk under street lights, carry car keys in their hands, report to friends when they leave a venue or start their journey home on their mobile. Try not to travel alone. Women learn from very early on to try & mitigate for sexual assault & abuse. Nearly every female I know has been abused at some level. Women leave spaces they feel threatened in. It takes a very brave woman to say no, loudly for others to hear.

@TTRadioOfficial The "parent claims". They may well do. They often do. "Parent claims a school confiscated my son's ###" What a parent thinks is wrong is not necessarily the right moral compass. Parent destabilises society and undermines School is a much more truthful headline.

NEW: In new BBC article on Mossbourne Academy, a parent claims pupils were punished for stopping at a shop on the way home in uniform. Mossbourne responded saying pupils are not permitted to enter shops in uniform, as travelling directly between home and school "ensures the school can maintain appropriate safeguarding standards". Anyone seen going into a shop after school in uniform "is sanctioned… This is about safety".

It is now urgent that the @H_S_E steps up and provides clear guidance to employers on workplace toilets and changing rooms. Employers cannot be expected to make complex human-rights determinations about whether particular men are allowed into women’s changing rooms, and then to wait and see if any individual women complain.

@ox_anna29 You bloody moron. We worked. Hard. We didn’t go and have a few years fun at uni. We didn’t go round the world on gap years. I was working from the age of 17 and at 74 I’m still working. We had 2 weeks holiday from work a year . No foreign holidays. You know nothing.

And this is why I fucking hate boomers. Young people work hard, go to uni, and still live pay check to pay check. Meanwhile boomers got free education, cheap housing and cheap transport. Don’t tell me there is no generational inequality
