This is what happens wen you experiment but if you dont experiment, you wont learn. From the beginning of the FY, till December I was consistently profitable. Then I made some changes in December and lost money. Jan was break even. But the learnings from December experiment helped me make even bigger gains in Feb, march and April. Again experimented in May and lost a bit of money but strategy got even stronger - that is the way you evolve.

₹50L down this year. Expensive lesson: high-risk experiments look exciting until they don't. Throwing away the new setups. Going back to what worked. Process over excitement. ₹80K a day. ₹4L a week. Slow, boring and repeatable. Recovery starts now. Don't be surprised if I stay away from Twitter for a while. Sometimes silence is part of the comeback. #Srinivega #OptionsTrading

I started trading in 2021. I often see people saying option trading was easier earlier. I never get it. Except for the increase in STT, the game is fundamentally same. Only a small fraction will make profit - then as well as now. The way I see it is, probably about 3% of the people will consistently make money. For now, I am in that 3% but when I entered the 3%, i pushed out one person from that group. That will eventually happen to me also, someone else who is better than me will come along and push me out of the 3% when i am on the edge of the 3% band. Thoughts? @PRAFULKULKARN18 @SarangSood @Nick_khandelwal

@saketh1998 Add 1.5% for dividends and reduce 2% due to net tax difference from FD returns. Now the equation is 5 vs 10.5%. The devis is always in the details.

@ValueWithPrem People are saying zomato is overcharging. But their food delivery margin is only 5%. That is because of all the overhead costs. Same People complain that they are not paying the delivery partners well. You cant have it both ways...

I have heard of a Zomato loophole which is so simple, terrifying and Zomato should be losing sleep over it A person orders 1 roti on Zomato. ₹40. Then he calls the restaurant directly 6 rotis, paneer butter masala, malai chaap, dal makhani, gulab jamun and pays them on UPI. Tells the restaurant to pack everything with that 1 roti Zomato order. The Zomato rider picks it up. Delivers home. No clue that ₹1,200 of food is riding shotgun with a ₹40 order. He’s using Zomato’s app. Zomato’s rider. Zomato’s entire logistics network and paying zero commission on 90% of his bill. It’s cheaper than booking directly from Porter and restaurant. The restaurant loves it. Full margin, no 25 to 30% Zomato cut. The customer loves it. No platform fee. No surge. No GST on the hidden portion. Zomato? Quietly subsidising the entire operation. And here’s the part nobody’s talking about this isn’t one rogue customer. Restaurants are in on it. They may be whispering this tip to regulars to keep them off the app. If this spreads, the unit economics of food delivery don’t just dip they bleed out from the inside. Zomato needs to plug this loophole. This is exploitation of the system. Zomato MUST do something to stop this. Have you seen this happening in your area?

We are witnessing something called as the K-shaped economy almost everywhere in the world. The rich gets richer. The poor gets poorer. However, the difference is: the starting point of wealth. An average American has a lot of wealth. If you are the bottom 50%, you might still have a choice to move to regions like South East Asia. And, enjoy a decent quality of life with limited $. But, if we are in bottom 90% in India, we don't have this option. Our fortunes are tied to economy. We have no option but to hope. The K-shaped hurts us. More than we think. Solution? The bottom 90% rises. Fights for better economic policies. Better economic policies= more money= wealth= better quality life. It's that simple. Question things like job market, Ethanol blending, non-sense taxation, freebies, real returns on stock markets etc. Anything that can build wealth should be deeply respected. Example: stock markets, FIIs etc. That's a genuine instrument to build wealth for many. When options to build wealth keeps shrinking, do understand that its the bottom 90% gets hit the most. The top 5-10% always have options.

Kevin O’Leary says almost nobody can beat the S&P 500 by picking individual stocks “If you think you’re so good that you can pick stocks and beat the index, give it a try and learn the hard way. Virtually nobody beats the index” “What you should do is make it easy for yourself. Maybe put $1,000 into one account where you pick stocks, and another $1,000 into SPY, the ETF that tracks the entire S&P 500” “And then you’ll find out the hard way that you’re not that good. 90% of the time, you can’t beat it, so you might as well join it and stop trying to pick stocks”

People completely missed the point. Modi has failed in some thing, he has succeeded in some things. I am personally happy that he is not wasting his time talking to media jokers. I would say the same thing if tomorrow Raga becomes PM and doesnt take questions from media. Media is the most useless least accountable institution in india- bunch of jokers.

According to Skin doctor “Press conferences are not mandatory.” fair enough Neither is answering Parliament properly. Neither is transparency. Neither is accountability. That doesn’t mean avoiding all of them for 12 years suddenly becomes the new normal. Nobody is saying media is some holy institution. Indian media is heavily compromised, polarized, and full of clowns. Everyone knows that. But if Modi supporters keep saying he is the strongest leader in the world, then why is he unable to sit in one unscripted press conference and take uncomfortable questions for even 30 minutes? Not a single one in past 12 years of his democratic rule ?! This “media asks biased questions” excuse is as weak as the case they filed against you over the tweet controversy. My dear big brother every major world leader faces hostile media. Biden did. Trump does. Macron does. Even Putin takes more direct questions from journalists than Modi (check his recent interaction with media dated 9th may 2026 & kindly go through the kind of questions he answered) I just want to know from you since you’ve wrote this huge ass paragraph defending our dear PM, tell me what exactly is the problem here? Why are leaders running nuclear powers able to stand in front of aggressive media, but our “56-inch” PM struggles to sit through one unscripted press conference? At some point, this stops looking like strategy and starts looking like fear of accountability. You cannot call yourself the strongest leader globally while needing fully scripted interviews, pre-approved questions, friendly anchors and complete control over every public interaction. And please stop pretending rallies and scripted interviews are accountability. They are nothing more than PR events. Accountability means someone can ask: - Why did demonetisation fail? - Why was Manipur burning for months before a statement came? - Why did NEET leaks happen repeatedly? - Why were electoral bonds hidden till the Supreme Court intervened? - Why did India’s unemployment hit record highs among youth? - Why are independent creators & journalists suddenly getting strikes, notices, FIRs, or account takedowns the moment they criticize the current government? - Why are giant corporations like Adani so quick to send legal notices to critics while the government stays conveniently silent? - Why are interviews always scripted, edited, and conducted by friendly anchors instead of open questioning by critics? And the leader has to answer without teleprompters, without edited clips, without handpicked anchors nodding like fans. Winning elections does not make someone beyond questioning. He is PM of a democratic country & not almighty god like you’ll treat him. Democracy is not “Bhaiyo aur behno vote for me once every 5 years & just stay silent till next elections”, it requires continuous accountability between elections too. And brother if a leader can address rallies with lakhs of people, appear on scripted podcasts, give choreographed interviews, campaign for months, give speeches every other week, dominate headlines daily for no reason and still avoid one genuine press conference in 12 years, people are obviously going to question what exactly you are so afraid of, and i am again asking on behalf of those people “WHY” ?!
THE SKIN DOCTOR@theskindoctor13

"Modi has not done a single press conference in 12 years." So what? Not taking questions from the press is not some moral crime in itself. The media is not a council of high priests conducting a legitimacy exam that every Prime Minister must clear for democratic certification. In a democracy, legitimacy comes from public mandate and governance, not from standing before cameras to satisfy a section of the media that mistakes access for accountability. As such, today's media ecosystem is not some sacred, neutral institution operating above politics. Much of it is deeply polarized. Different political camps have their favorite journalists, narratives, and ecosystems. Questions are designed less to seek answers and more to manufacture headlines, extract viral moments, or build personal brands. And those who hold frequent press conferences are not automatically standing on higher moral ground either. We have all seen planted easy questions from pliable journalists and difficult questions brushed aside with “aap rival party ki bhasha mat boliye,” deflections, or outright evasions. The number of press conferences a leader does is not a certificate of transparency. Otherwise, by that logic, Trump, who interacts with the press almost daily, should automatically be considered the most transparent, most democratic, and the finest leader in the world.

Modi deserves to be humiliated everywhere he goes. He has not given a single press conference in 12 years since he became the Prime Minister. He fails to fulfill the basic transparency and accountability requirements of being a leader. I would like to encourage foreign journalists from other European countries to ask him questions wherever they see him, just like @HelleLyngSvends did. Embarrass him so much that he is forced to show some accountability in front of people. You will be doing great service for India’s progress.

Here is my understanding, MMs just continously provide bid and ask. Their net position at any time depends on what their counter parties did till that point. For eg: If other participants sold lot of puts, MMs would have lot of put buy positions. In intra day option trading, majority are delta nuetral, so naturally MMs are usually delta neutral. If other participants take too many directional beta, MMs will look to keep their delta exposure within a certain limit especially by Eod.
