Today America celebrates 250 years of Independence! We are thankful for God's providence that has protected and guided our nation through all of these years. Wishing you and your family a Happy Independence Day!

This week the U.S. Supreme Court leveled the playing field for women’s sports! The court ruled 9-0 that Title IX and 6-3 that the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment allow states to protect female athletes through sex-specific sports. This is a huge VICTORY!

Louisiana's HB 690 helps protect schools from foreign influence by prohibiting education agencies from contracting with foreign adversaries, terrorist organizations, and their agents or proxies. Thank you to Rep. @BerylAmedee for leading this important effort.

Idaho's SB 1299 protects privacy and individual choice by ensuring physical IDs remain valid, prohibiting government demands for access to personal devices, and limiting digital ID use to one-time verification. Thank you to @nichols_senator for passing this important legislation.

North Carolina is considering legislation to strengthen accountability for school districts that violate state law and parents' rights. Thank you Rep. @BrendenJonesNC for bringing HB 1043 would authorize investigations into ISDs found out of compliance with state requirements.

Thank you Sen. Salmon for ensuring individuals are not forced to embrace gov policies that conflict with their sincerely held religious or moral beliefs regarding sexual orientation or gender identity, while allowing faith-based agencies to operate according to their convictions.

TN's SB 2461 establishes safeguards for women utilizing assisted reproductive technology, including certification standards for practitioners & clinics, embryo storage protections, informed consent requirements, & more. Thank you to Sen. @PaulBaileyforTN for leading this effort.

CO's HCR 26-1004 would've added the right of parents to direct the upbringing, education, & care of their children to the state constitution. Thank you to the resolution sponsors (@bradleyforco), though it did not advance, it elevated an important conversation on parental rights.

Georgia's SB 542 strengthens protections against sexual abuse by clergy, recognizing that abuse can occur through trust and authority, not just force or threats. Thank you to Sen. Randy Robertson for leading with this important legislation.

The Declaration of Independence reminds us that the right to life is not granted by government, but endowed by our Creator. May we continue to defend and cherish that right for every human being, especially those who cannot speak for themselves.

Pennsylvania is considering SB 822 to strengthen 2nd Amendment protections by preventing local firearm regulations that conflict with state law and providing legal remedies for citizens affected by unlawful ordinances. Thank you to @SenLangerholc for leading this effort.

Louisiana has strengthened transparency and accountability in the treatment of human remains through HB 1253, which requires documentation of retained organs in autopsy reports and establishes safeguards for access to these sensitive records. Thank you to Rep. Rhonda Butler!

Thank you to Rep. @realAlexKolodin for sponsoring HCR 2001, the Secure Elections Act, which will give Arizona voters the opportunity this November to consider a constitutional amendment aimed at strengthening election security measures (including voter ID) across the state.
