On July 6, 1955, a KC-97 crew near Newfoundland reported an unidentified object. At the same time, ground radar tracked what an Air Force summary described as an “apparently identical” object. A USAF committee found the reported characteristics inconsistent with known Soviet, U.S. or Canadian systems and said it was “unable to explain the simultaneous ground radar returns and aircrew visual sightings.” The committee tentatively attributed the incident to electrical phenomena and aircrew misinterpretation—but still classified it as an “Unidentified Flying Object.” It also recommended that fighters within range be “scrambled without delay” during future incidents. probed.space/ufo-files/file…

Didn’t know neutrino comms were a thing. So what would be the benefit of using neutrinos? Is it that they can pass through everything or that they would be tough to detect/intercept? Wouldn’t you need something like a particle accelerator to do this? Also, wouldn’t the detector/receiver have to be huge?
