@TomNdahiro @EgidieBibio @NkotanyiYvette @Rncongress @onduhungirehe @Mumbogo_V_S @OliverMushimire @YolandeMakolo @PatriotNkotanyi @NshimyimanaEmma @aysesila1975 @AngeKagame @Murangira_BT @gat_steeve @DrDamascene @rpfinkotanyi @KARANGWASewase @SadateMunyakazi @jamboasbl @FDU_Inkingi @freyntje

President of DRC chose a global stage in Brussels today to prove the age-old saying: le ridicule ne tue pas. Putting shame aside, he asserted his peace loving nature, forgetting the many times he threatened to invade Rwanda and overthrow its leadership. Followed this with his favorite act: claiming victimhood of the very conflict he caused and has refused to resolve. For clarity, this is what the arm of peace he claimed to extend today, looks like: ✅ Arming and supporting FDLR, a genocidal force, and making them an integral part of the national army. ✅ Supporting militias that persecute, kill, burn Congolese alive based on ethnicity ✅ Denying M23’s Congolese identity to evade responsibility for resolving the crisis. ✅ Begging for help from every continent, only to turn around and sabotage any sign of progress. ✅Hiring mercenaries to fight his wars (but still losing). ✅Scapegoating Rwanda as the cause of the entire nation’s failure to deliver anything for citizens, while leaders loot an absurd amount of national resources with friends and family. As President Kagame has said: “There is no use arguing with those who have repeated their lies long enough, they have come to believe them.” “There are no lessons Rwanda needs to be taught about the meaning of peace, those of us who have fought for peace know its price.”

Let us debunk Claude Gatebuke’s lies @shinani1lies that he survived the Genocide against the Tutsi, just like @PatrickRugaba with the aim of misleading people into accepting without hesitation his teachings and agenda of defaming the Government of Rwanda, advocating for the FDLR, and trivializing and denying the Genocide against the Tutsi. Gatebuke Claude was not part of the Tutsi ethnic group that was targeted during the 1990–1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and therefore it is false to claim that his family was a victim or that he and his siblings are survivors. Nevertheless, while living in the United States, he and his sister Alice Gatebuke continue to present themselves as survivors in public speeches, writings, and on social media, deliberately spreading misinformation to mislead audiences and give credibility to their agenda of distorting the truth about the Genocide against the Tutsi. 1) Gatebuke Claude is the son of Gatebuke Justin, who was born in 1956 in Mugara Cell, Gishwati Sector, Kayove Commune, in former Gisenyi Prefecture. Gatebuke Justin, Claude Gatebuke's father was born to Rwamwaga who was nicknamed Kinyuka, and he had two wives, Nyambuga Agnès and Ntabugi, Justin Gatebuke's mother. Both were Hutu ethnicity. 2) Gatebuke Justin has brothers including Enias Ukwitegetse who was a butcher in Nkora market and Théophile Burindi who was the clerk of Kayove Municipality for many years, and his sister Nyiramakuba. All of them were never Tutsis. Gatebuke Justin, the futher of Gatebuke Claude, studied primary school in Kayove in Vumbi, continued his secondary education at the Rubengera School of Education and at the University of Rwanda at the College of General Medicine (Ecole supérieure des techniques medicales = ESTM), and had a school card N°81/145. 3) According to the report for the 1982–1983 academic year, prepared on 7 February, 1983, by Ntakirutinka Charles, then Secretary General of the University, which lists the institution’s students, Gatebuke Justin was enrolled in the third year (Bac. III). The report notes that he was Hutu and was born in 1956 in Kayove Commune, Gisenyi prefecture. 4) When Gatebuke Justin graduated from the University, he worked as a representative of the National Office of Population (ONAPO) in the prefectures of Gitarama and Byumba. In every location where he served, his identity card recorded him as Hutu, consistent with both his birth and his education. During his tenure at ONAPO, he oppressed the Tutsi, collaborating closely with his friend Nyirasafari Gaudence, the Director General of ONAPO. Gatebuke Justin was also a close associate of Nyirasafari’s husband, Phocas Habimana, who later became the Director of the genocidal radio station RTLM. This entrenched animosity contributed to the extremely limited hiring of Tutsi staff at ONAPO and fostered an environment marked by cruelty and overt ethnic discrimination, in which Gatebuke Justin played a pivotal role. 5) Two examples: - The first is that, according to government data from 1992–1993 on employees in ministries and public institutions, ONAPO, which was led by Nyirasafari Gaudence, a friend of Gatebuke Justin, had an extremely low number of Tutsi employees. Out of 252 staff members, only 7 were Tutsi, and they were assigned to the lowest-level positions, including typists, drivers, and office attendants. - Furthermore, when the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) launched its struggle to liberate the country, these Tutsi employees were arbitrarily arrested, and even a few Hutu suspected of supporting the RPF were also detained. After the 1991 N’sélé agreements between the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) and the Government of Rwanda, which stipulated that detainees accused of supporting the RPF should be released without obstruction and reinstated in their jobs, ONAPO refused to comply. Two of its female employees, Mrs. Sabakunzi Sophie and Mrs. Mukansanga Jeanne d’Arc, were dismissed despite their husbands having been imprisoned on charges of supporting the RPF, and ONAPO also refused to reinstate them. Additionally, two employees from ONAPO’s Gisenyi branch were similarly denied reinstatement. These injustices were carried out by officials who shared the same animosity as Gatebuke Justin, the father of Gatebuke Claude, who falsely claimed to have survived the atrocities and violence associated with his father’s actions. CONCLUSION 1) Based on the identity records of Gatebuke Justin, father of Gatebuke Claude, and considering the acts of cruelty and ethnic animosity he committed against Tutsis during his tenure at ONAPO, in collaboration with Nyirasafari Gaudence and her husband Phocas Habimana, it is clear that none of them was Tutsi, nor were they ever persecuted or killed on account of their ethnicity, unlike other Tutsis during the genocide. 2) Gatebuke Claude’s residence in the United States of America and his false claim that he survived the genocide reveal deliberate malicious intent. He fabricates a narrative of victimhood to elicit sympathy from uninformed audiences, gaining attention and support that he channels to the FDLR and other anti-Rwandan groups. Furthermore, a deliberate strategy is now employed by certain descendants of genocidaires who falsely present themselves as Tutsi. This tactic seeks to distort and minimize the historical record of the genocide against the Tutsi and to malign the Rwandan government. It misleads those unfamiliar with these deceptions into believing these impostors are genuine survivors of the internationally recognized Genocide against the Tutsi when, in fact, these claims constitute calculated falsehoods intended to perpetuate the ideology of hatred that fueled the Genocide. 3) As Pierre Vidal-Naquet observed regarding the Holocaust, genocide deniers continually seek to appropriate the identity of survivors. Among children of genocidaires who falsely claim to be survivors, this practice forms part of a deliberate and malicious agenda to perpetuate genocide through lies, cruelty, and slander. Such falsehoods must be exposed, refuted, and prevented from succeeding.
