@TheOfficialSBI Stabilise the application. Remove bugs. Make login easier but secure. Secure does not have to be difficult to login. Focus on core features. I doubt if sbi tests what vendors deliver.

Goa night club fire: Club was installed on Salt pan/orchard zoning land. Did not have a construction licence from Town and Country Planning dept. How did local panchayat then give permission? How were electricity/water connection given? Who gave liquor licence? Was there any fire safety audit? This is prima facie a MAN MADE TRAGEDY. Grief AFTER tragedy isn’t the answer, we don’t need another inquiry which ends up in another govt file, We need ACCOUNTABILITY to be fixed : @DrPramodPSawant @RohanKhaunte @MichaelLobo76 @visrane @VijaiSardesai

@mrsinha Ex post rationalisation. A 5 % bias in the EVMs is all that is necessary to give these results despite a massive swing against the incumbent

Since elections are over in Bihar, let me share a fact. Initially, Tejashwi Yadav was doing quite well, raising core issues like jobs, exams, results, migration, and security. NDA was clearly on the backfoot. Then came Rahul Gandhi. He shifted the entire campaign towards SIR, sidelining the real issues. NDA was more than happy because they knew it wouldn’t impact youths or ordinary voters. In fact, it helped them: the core issues got buried, and NDA could play on the front foot. Even their online supporters, who may have avoided defending them on job-related issues, joined in this narrative. As always, Pappu turned out to be a blessing for NDA. Tejashwi lost many votes solely because of Rahul Gandhi and his politics. No serious opposition party, especially when fighting strong opponents, should ally with Congress as long as Pappu is leading it. His mindset is no different from Naxals, always aiming to create chaos, but never capable of winning elections.

theguardian.com/world/2025/mar… #PoliceBrutality #RuleOfLaw #PoliceReforms The Indian police are modeled on the Irish Constabulary, not the London Bobbies. It lacks operational autonomy. It is the biggest violator of the rule of law in India. Reforms, as in the Riberio Committee, are necessary. In my own class with senior IAS officers, they most readily agree with the behavior of the IP this film brings out.

@bhogleharsha @IndiGo6E I think it is time we avoided Indigo as much as possible. They cheat on seat sizes, space, washroom minutes, food quality (forget variety .. stale sandwiches) avoiding services like water, switching off ACs on long ground waits, pushing people into the boarding vestibule..

@DasShaktikanta Great innings. Came in at a challenging time. The RBI's initiatives were very crucial in India's recovery from the COVID. Best wishes.

@BhavikaKapoor5 Indeed. The simple question that all those who bat for the ECI should ask is “if the EVMs are so good why not count all the VVPATs? “ . There are so many ways to corrupt the EVMs.

@ECISVEEP ECs were appointed by 1 person. Why would he then be objective and fair? Govts have a strong incentive to influence electoral processes. This "weakness" of democracies is fixed only when voting is designed to be independent of government. That fix was undone by this regime.

False campaign is being run by some (other than candidates) in furtherance of design to discredit largest elections ever held in the history of mankind in most transparent manner involving candidates/ stakeholders at every stage of elections. 1/3

Unfounded attempts are made to compare approx turnout fig at 7pm on pollday (when many PS might be closing poll &/or voters waiting in queue)with ‘End of Poll’ turnout available a day after poll day. Electoral data & outcomes are strictly as per statutory forms &procedures u/RPA.

@ECISVEEP Not really. The deviations are large. So is the time gap between the estimate at close of polling and the final estimate (5-15 days!). Even for entirely urban areas (e.g.Chandigarh it is ludicrously large). If ECI is so right about no biases why not count the VVPATs?

@the_hindu @suhasinih India should have worked with her to accede to the demands of the protesters... It would have been good for B'desh, for India and for all sane people, and even for her and her party.

#Bangladesh PM #SheikhHasina, who had been in power for the past 15 years, resigned and fled the country on August 5 after weeks of deadly unrest in which more than 300 people have been killed. Here's all you need to know. A thread 🧵

@the_hindu She could have just acceded to the demands, which were not really directed at her or her party. She actively created her enemies?

@elonmusk Simplistic. Rehash of "superman" thinking. Durable value creation happens when societal institutions are designed to be functional, fair, and enhance human values. Even in commercial organisations, leadership derived from capability and creativity is what works (Musk himself).

@kaushikcbasu Thats the whole point of Hindutva to change Hinduism from what they believe to be this passive, meek, weak, inclusive , unsteady religion to the so called aggressive, self promoting ,violent , religion to assert their superiority in every way against others!

People ask me about India’s economy. I tell them it has its pluses & minuses. What really worries me is India’s politics—the way religion is being used to serve political interests. This is not the way India was, nor meant to be. Hindutva is hurting not just India but Hinduism.

@kaushikcbasu The religious awakening among Hindus is the best thing that has happened to India and Hindus—they can now rest assured they won't be ousted from their own country by a minority uprising.
