@JTGenter Looking forward to your review. Just spent way more points than I needed to on a Delta One flight (vs cheaper Business class options) just to try out this lounge.

This lounge may look nice, but it's absolutely not "one of the best in the entire world". First, like most Delta lounges, it's already extremely overcrowded. We struggled to find an empty seat just to sit down today. And Tuesday typically isn't a peak travel day. That demand means staff are stretched way beyond their means. Forget getting a drink when you sit down in the lounge. You're lucky to be able to flag down lounge staff to put in an order. Waits for spa services were more than 2.5 hours (even massage chairs had a 2-hour wait). We waited so long to be seated in the dining room and for a server to take our order (over 20 mins from seating) that we had to bail out of the lounge before our first course made it to the table. And still we only barely made our flight. I'm writing a full review for AwardWallet, but let's put it nicely that I'm disappointed. And I'm sure that many others who are reading the glowing reviews from press-only openings are too.

Starting on 11/8, American Express cards that come with monthly Uber Credits will require putting the Uber ride/meal on an AmEx card in order to use the credit. AmEx continues to do everything to make its cards’ benefits more annoying to use in the hopes that you won’t use them

@ProfitsAndPoint Ha! Was it on the red line near the zoo? I remember years ago that escalator was out and having to hoof it all the way to the top. Quite the workout. Metro is great and sure beats that DC traffic!

If the color of the physical card really matters that much, we’ll give you a platinum white chromium Bilt card. Or is that they’re paying creators $500 per approval?

I mean, conspicuous consumption is at an all time high, and having a product (i.e. a card) that stands out from others is a great marketing move. It’s a big part of why people want the Centurion card. I would gladly stick a Platinum, White, Aluminum, Glitter Bilt card in my wallet. 😂 (And I say this as someone without any affiliate links from any the majors including Amex but did make content about the color of my new white gold Amex 😂)

Head scratcher on these Amex Gold changes. $7/month in Dunkin is the added benefit for 30% annual fee increase to $325 a year.

I’m sorry, but @Delta’s latest operational update is its worst — and most disappointing — one yet. The airline doesn’t apologize to flyers, doesn’t include a CEO quote, and doesn’t explain what these metrics mean. I expected more from this "premium," "customer-focused" airline
