The amount of AI writing on OpenAI's docs makes me sick. Filler sentences for nothing. Mannerisms and phrases humans would not write. Has a human even read this? And all of this will change how other docs are written, and how we all talk - for the worse IMO. 🤮

My NixOS unstable didn't have the correct fonts any more for Chrome. Since it is a deterministic distro, I could just point Codex at my config, which ran a few tests with headless Chrome, identified and fixed the issue with fontconfig 2.18. Then, it did a full system build to verify it worked. Can your distro do that? > Verified with a full NixOS build and headless Chrome; Trebuchet and Verdana now resolve correctly. Not deployed.

@ibuildthecloud Been trying to convince my boss we need to stop putting engineering effort in support macOS as a dev platform. It's such a timesink. And it's so easy to run Linux VMs on MacOS now that I really don't see why not.

I really wish everyone would just develop in Linux. It's really the best development environment. Supporting other operating systems is just a pain. Also, Linux is way faster for dev. I think it's mostly file system and the lack of BS security scanners.
